Under the current Chinese leadership, the suffix “with Chinese characteristics” has become a staple term in its diplomatic conversations. It can be attached to anything. It has become the stealth term that hides all threats and inconveniences the West is afraid of. It is the propaganda ministry's opium to the western world suggesting that China is just a little bit different. And it is different!
In 2023 a makeshift bio lab with over three dozen types of viruses, bacteria and other germs, many of them contagious, was discovered in Reedley, CA. The operators were Chinese. The bio lab was about 40 minutes from the Naval Air Station Leemore, the Navy’s largest Air Force Base on the west coast.
If fighter jets are not on an aircraft carrier, they are in Leemore. Forty minutes away, that is a one way trip for a Made in China hobby drone. As we said: military activities with Chinese characteristics.
If drones deliver flu or covid viruses as droplet spray at 2:00am, the sleeping troops might not die, but be incapacitated on time. That would already suffice to overthrow a military campaign.
But how did the bio lab operator near Leemore get Ebola viruses into his refrigerator? Certainly not by online order. The bio lab in Wuhan was a category 4 bio lab, built by a French company. Only few of such bio labs exist in the world.
And why would one need such an expensive bio lab if a makeshift one in the desert could do the same job? One might think that the intention of that lab was nefarious, and the operators planned a biowarfare attack on the AFB. We would argue that the makeshift lab, the DIY lab, is not the only nefarious act.
A natural disaster like a tornado, a hurricane, a tsunami, remember, a tsunami took down a Japanese nuclear powerplant, or even an earthquake can disable the AC or the power supply for the fridge. In that case a real accident could turn such DIY labs into epicenters of pandemics.
If the Leemore bio lab was just the only Trojan horse with Chinese biowarfare characteristics, it might be ok. But just recently, early 2026, another DIY bio lab was discovered in Las Vegas, about eight miles from the Nellis Air Force Base. Nellis AFB does not only train air combat pilots, but it is also a storage for about 1,000 nuclear weapons.
Spreading a contagious germ near Nellis would mean pilots who come for training to Nellis might spread it unintentionally to aircraft carriers around the world, depending on the incubation time. Of course, it's just a coincidence. A coincidence with Chinese characteristics.
If the military installations in Leemore and Nellis would be incapacitated on a moment's notice, it could devastate major U.S. military strategies. We hope we can convey a sense of urgency because it is urgent.
And yes, Las Vegas is a paradise for travelers. Travelers come from around the world and after a few days fly back to their home country. If one wanted to ignite another pandemic, Las Vegas would be among the perfect locations.
Sun Tzu said in his book Art of War that one should hit the enemy where he is the weakest, where he would expect it the least. A tourist spot in the desert is certainly a place where one would not expect a biowarfare attack. The global capital of casinos is certainly a choice that would satisfy Sun Tzu.
The one million dollar question is: how many more bio labs with Chinese characteristics are there in the United States, stealthy or openly run? Would anyone make it a national security issue and knock at Chinese owned biotechnology companies? No, better not, because U.S. law would prohibit it.
Fine. So, China gained our legal system and built bioweapons on U.S. soil protected by U.S. law. Tell this story to all those who might be killed by the next pandemic. The U.S. law should not be used to protect bioweapon attacks from any foreign power.
But now, we look for bio labs, and meanwhile, Chinese students returning from China to their universities in America, they smuggle other deadly germs into the country. Such as a toxic fungus that can destroy our crops and trigger food shortage. Sun Tzu: hit your enemy where he does not expect you.
Not a pandemic, but possibly a food supply disaster. And in the case of this Chinese student who smuggled the fungus, she worked in a bio lab at the Michigan University. The heads of that bio lab were also Chinese.
So, basically, a family affair with Chinese characteristics on U.S. soil. Will we realize that these are not loosely connected coincidences but events of a strategic masterplan with Chinese characteristics?
After being blamed for the Wuhan lab, the Chinese leadership would love to return the favor and direct the finger at the U.S. This year, 2026 is special. It is the 250 years anniversary of the United States.
A year with symbolic character. The World Trade center terrorists chose 9/11, a cold blooded attempt to make us shiver every time we dial 911 for emergency calls. The 250th anniversary offers more symbolic attacks.
Paired with countless mass events or global traveler events like the Olympics or the FIFA World Cup, there is an issue of national security. And yes, makeshift sleeper bio labs and student smugglers emerging prior to these events do not make us more comfortable.
Pearl Harbor occurred because we lowered our guards. The Trojan Horse only worked, because the Trojan army was asleep. And what will be the story of America?
Scenario: China attacks Taiwan. U.S. comes to defend Taiwan. China orders the sleeper bio labs to release its bioweapons inside the U.S. causing an endemic and thereby cutting off the supply chain for the U.S. Navy.
Result: the U.S. Navy has to retreat from Taiwan and China acquires Taiwan. Sounds like conspiracy theory. But Xi Jinping has fired five members of the Central Military Commission and recently also removed the vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, General Zhang Youxia.
He was known to be more traditionalist and opposed a military attack on Taiwan. Then why was he fired? Maybe because his opinion was counter to the agenda of Xi Jinping.
Are we ready to respond with a strategy with American characteristics? Or maybe at least wake up?
How about starting with a new law that puts anyone who sets up a private, unlicensed bio lab and conducts experiments with contagious germs behind bars for a minimum of 20 years? Sounds harsh? You will think differently when the person’s bio lab causes another pandemic.
Maybe the same punishment for people who smuggle toxic fungi into the United States. In Asia, people get lifelong imprisonment when they smuggle recreational drugs. But those are not even contagious bioweapons.
Well, China does not leave any stone unturned. Early February, we learned that a Chinese criminal gang recruited Navy members for sham marriages, to get immigration benefits and access cards to military installations.
This is what happens if we talk about infiltration with Chinese characteristics. But maybe this is a way to get babies, then bring those babies to China, to analyze the DNA and find the DNA that is so special for American troops.
They replicate it and insert the Navy genes into Chinese PLA troops for a future army? Yes, it’s wild. But when it becomes wild, that’s where you begin to understand what Chinese characteristics mean.
Let’s close with the wildest conspiracy idea. The Russian opposition leader Navalny was apparently killed with the toxin of a Latin American frog. It took a while to figure that out.
Poison in a drink, poison rub on the edge of a wine glass, toxic gas via the air conditioner air duct pipes, or even sound wave weapons possibly used against U.S. personnel in Cuba. You name it.
There are maybe substances and ways to kill someone that we don’t even know of. And yet President Trump is determined to visit Xi Jinping on his home turf.
President Trump might say Xi is his friend, but to name the elephant in the room: all the other millions of CCP members are not. These are pretty bad odds to play Russian roulette with Chinese characteristics.
Is that realistic? Of course. China has bribed a large portion of American power players.
Trump is the only person they cannot control, and the only person who would take on China. For the CCP and the Chinese government, getting rid of Trump would give them unhindered and free access to control the world.
China has nothing to lose if they set up a trap for Trump. If they are bold enough to run secret bio labs, smuggle toxic germs into the U.S. and are brutal enough to forcibly harvest tens of thousands of organs each year from their prisoners of conscience, then everything is on the table.
Certainly, there would be outcry, etc, but that would fade off over time. Instead of visiting the lion’s den, the time would be better spent to first find and remove all Chinese bio labs on U.S. soil.
