Miami Teacher Loses Career Over Sick Social Media Posts Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Murder

MIAMI SHORES, FL - Some liberal Democrats have shown their true colors in the aftermath of conservative icon Charlie Kirk’s assassination in front of thousands of people in Utah on Wednesday. Much as they did when President Trump narrowly escaped an assassination attempt on July 13, 2024, far-left lunatics have taken to celebrating the murder of a husband and father of two young children. The liberal pathogen is sick, twisted, and is a waste of oxygen. 

A meme has been circulating in the wake of Kirk’s murder that reads, “I don’t have to listen to conservatives to be a conservative…I just listen to liberals.” That has been evident in the hours following Kirk’s killing. 

We have been shocked by the venom and hatred directed toward Kirk, including by some who purport to be Christians. You do not have to like what Charlie Kirk had to say, but to see murder as an antidote for his beliefs is the definition of insanity. 

In Florida, two individuals are under fire, with one already losing his job, for twisted posts in the wake of Kirk’s murder. 

One, 54-year-old Glen Turf, lost his job as Chief Officer for Global Learning Opportunities, Belongings and Empowerment at Miami Country Day School, a private school in Miami Shores, Florida, WSVN reports. That position looks to be ripe for the axe anyway. Turf, who at 54 years old should perhaps know better, resigned after posting on social media, “He died. Oh well, he ironically promoted gun usage. Karma.” 

Keep in mind that Turf worked in a position where he was responsible for directing young children. Even though this is a private school, this is still why people should homeschool their kids if they can. Sadly, many who work in the educational system are committed leftists who are damaged beyond repair. Turf resigned before he could be fired. His comments sparked outrage among those in the school community. 

In a letter to the school community, Mariandil Hufford, President and Head of School, said that Turf had resigned. 

“This decision follows an exchange he engaged in on social media that does not align with our values. Mr. Turf has apologized for his remarks and acknowledged that his statement runs counter to the mission and values of Miami Country Day School, as well as the standards outlined in our Employee Handbook.” 

Perhaps Mr. Turf (or is it Turd?) can get a job flipping burgers at the local McDonald’s. However, he is probably underqualified for that role.

WSVN-7 News went to Turf’s home to speak to him and obtain his version of events; however, a female voice could be heard through a Ring doorbell camera yelling, “Get the [expletive] off the property.” She sounds lovely. 

Turf isn’t the only leftist dimwit to stab himself in the foot. In Palmetto Bay, Florida, Steve Cody, a member of the village council, thought it smart to post the following about Kirk’s murder:

“Charlie Kirk is a fitting sacrifice to our lords: Smith and Wesson. Hallowed be their names.” 

After word of his comments went public, community members, state, and federal officials are urging him to resign. Some showed up at the Village Hall on Thursday to condemn Cody’s ill-thought-out remarks. 

“It’s not funny, and it’s too late to kind of, in my opinion, turn back the dial on it,” Palmetto Bay Mayor Karyn Cunningham said. 

“To mock the brutal assassination of a political activist is incredibly disgusting,” Palmetto Bay Vice Mayor Mark Merwitzer said. 

Unfortunately, town leaders don’t have the authority to remove or reprimand Cody. However, Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis can, a step Merwitzer plans on pursuing. 

“I’m sending an email to the governor demanding [Cody’s] immediate revocation of office,” he told a crowd of protesters. 

Cody does not appear to be leaning toward resigning, and posted a half-hearted “apology” on social media, saying he “[s]crewed up” and “[r]egrettably made a significant error in judgment.” 

Sadly, Miami County Day School announced Thursday that they were closing the school and suspending all activities through Sunday due to “unverified online threats.” 

These are the actions we expect from Marxist liberals, not from conservatives. That is not who we are. We are better than that. Let the liberals step on a rake while conservatives take the high road.
