INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN - Law enforcement in the Minnesota suburb of Inver Grove Heights is reportedly investigating the deaths of three individuals who were reportedly discovered inside a home earlier in August.
The Inver Grove Heights Police Department (IGHPD) is investigating three deaths discovered at a residence located along the 3200 block of 78th Street East on August 30, with limited details being shared by authorities regarding the matter.
According to authorities, police were called to the residence in response to a requested welfare check when the bodies were discovered. The identities of the deceased, as well as the suspected causes of death, were not shared by authorities as of this writing. Local reports note the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension was on scene during the initial investigation.
A press release from the IGHPD emphasized “there is no known threat to the public,” further adding that the “medical examiner will release the [identities] and cause of death” at a later date.
While officials have yet to confirm rumors and statements made by individuals online, people reportedly familiar with the family at the residence where the incident occurred have claimed the three deceased individuals are 43-year-old Jamie Charles and her sons, Willie Jr. and Jaymison.
A GoFundMe fundraiser established by a self-identified family member of the deceased, Polly Morgan, appears to substantiate the aforementioned claims. The fundraiser seeks to help cover the expenses associated with funeral and memorial arrangements, with the family member describing the loss of the three as “unexpected.”
“Our family is facing an unimaginable heartbreak after the sudden loss of three deeply loved members of our family: Jamie, Willie Jr., and Jaymison,” the fundraiser reads in part, further adding, “There are no words that can truly express the pain of losing three precious lives. Each of them touched the lives of so many people and brought their own unique love, joy, and memories into our family and community. Their absence has left a space that can never be filled.”
