Trans-identifying boy violently assaults a female student; the VICTIM gets suspended for five days

BAR HARBOR, ME - Once upon a time, a community like Bar Harbor, Maine, located in the Downeast section of this quiet New England state, would be considered a safe haven from the violence that has taken over much of the country, especially the big cities. No longer. And in increasing cases, the violence involves the so-called “trans” community, not as victims but as aggressors.

In the latest case where trans violence has targeted female victims, a student at Mount Desert Island High School in Bar Harbor was hospitalized after being assaulted twice in one day by a man dressed as a woman, Not the Bee reports. The “minor” suspect is not being identified due to his age.

The second assault was captured on video and posted to X, shown below. This video may be disturbing to some readers:

The suspect had been identified as a subject of interest in several previous sexual harassment complaints just months ago, The Maine Wire reported, at a different Maine high school. As we have often seen in these cases, such as one in Loudoun County, Virginia, a couple of years ago, schools tend to bury these cases and ship the offender off to another high school where they can offend again.

How the school handled it makes this case even more egregious.

As the video shows, while the victim was getting viciously assaulted, the principal and some staff members stood by and did absolutely nothing. The victim’s mother explains:

“He full-on attacks her, gets on top of her, and pins her down, so she’s not even able to defend herself in any way because he’s bigger, he’s heavier, he’s like six feet tall. And then he begins biting her eye, and my daughter said, while he was chewing on her eye, he was growling. He’s grabbing handfuls of hair and smashing her head off the pavement. All the while, the teachers, the principal is crouched down next to them,” the mother said.

“When you’re smashing somebody’s head off [the] pavement with that type of force, what is your intent? Your only intent is probably to kill that person. The whole time, she’s just screaming for help, crying and screaming, ‘Somebody help.’ And nobody helped her. The principal sat there and screamed at them instead of helping.”

That would be bad enough, but believe it or not, it gets much worse. School Principal Matthew Haney, who stood by and watched the assault, suspended the assault victim from school for five days and is telling students to delete the video in an apparent attempt to cover up the incident.

Following is an interview of the victim’s father on a talk radio station:

Haney has since deleted his X account.

Sources told Not the Bee that the suspect has a history of inappropriate conduct, The Maine Wire reported. He previously attended Ellsworth High School, where he was allowed to use the girls’ bathrooms due to his so-called “gender identity.” He was sent to a different school after he was caught spying on girls, taking cellphone pictures, and masturbating, which led to a student protest at the school.

In an interview with The Maine Wire, the victim and her family, who chose to remain anonymous, explained the details of what happened.

The attacker struck the victim in the head with a steel water bottle and was growling as he pinned her down on the sidewalk. Aside from biting her eye, he grabbed her by her hair and smashed her head into the concrete sidewalk several times.

Another unreleased video obtained by The Maine Wire confirmed the family’s account of the attack, showing him striking the victim at least two times with the metal water bottle, then taking her to the ground, straddling her, biting her, and then grabbing her by the hair.

The victim told her mother, “Mom, I really thought I was going to die. I thought that was it. I thought I was never going to see you again.”

“And that’s probably the hardest thing to hear,” the mother told the outlet. “That really haunts me.”

The Maine Wire reached out to Haney for comment, which he ducked. He also deleted his X account. A response was received from school Superintendent Mike Zboray.

As you are aware, a fight occurred in front of MDIHS Friday morning. Due to privacy concerns and confidentiality requirements, I cannot legally share more about the incident or anyone involved. However, I assure you that school officials are taking the matter seriously and are handling it in accordance with our policies and procedures.

Every student altercation is different, and administrative staff are trained to intervene by utilizing a range of de-escalation strategies from verbal cues to physical restraint (as a last resort, per Maine law). Every situation provides an opportunity to learn, for both students and staff, and we are always working to improve how we protect all students and staff. I trust our staff to follow their training and use their judgment in the best interests of those involved in these difficult situations.

I will also share that there are some untrue rumors connected to this event. One stated that the bus driver was on leave, which is untrue. Another accusation is that administrative staff bribed students with community service and sent a mass email to students to delete the video. Those are also untrue.

As you can see, Zboray's response is full of usual, nonsensical platitudes. Also, notice that he referred to the unprovoked assault as a “fight,” no doubt to lay some culpability on the victim.

As a result of the assault, the victim has had two medical consultations and will soon have a CAT scan to determine if an orbital bone fracture is causing the blurred vision and partial loss of vision she is suffering. The Maine Wire said photos of the victim show extensive bruising around her right eye, as well as tears in her scalp where several clumps of hair were ripped out of her head during the attack.

The victim’s mother said that in addition to the physical injuries suffered by her daughter, she is suffering emotionally and has been fearful of being alone, and she is in fear for her safety if she decides to return to school.

She also slammed the school’s teachers and administration for failing to intervene to help her daughter.

‘I couldn’t imagine, you know, we, we send our children to school in hopes that, of course, something like this would never happen, but that if it did, that somebody, anybody, any of these fucking teachers that are trained, you know, they go through all these fucking trainings for what? To not use them?” she railed.

In the Ellsworth High School incident, “the school administration was hostile to the protesting students, made no changes to school policies, and claimed that the school’s investigation found no evidence that the alleged misconduct ever occurred,” The Maine Wire reported.

Moreover, the Ellsworth American reported at the time that the school allegedly threatened any students who recorded the protest with suspensions.

The suspect has started estrogen hormone replacement therapy, according to his social media posts. A review of his posts by The Maine Wire also found many posts about gender transition and gender ideology, contemplation of self-harm, and suicide ideation, along with frustration with his fellow students.

Maine is another in a long line of blue states that have drunk the woke Kool-Aid and joined the gender transition train. In July 2023, Gov. Janet Mills (D-ME) signed a law that allows 16 and 17-year-olds to obtain sex change drugs, such as the estrogen injections the suspect availed himself of, without parental consent.

Moreover, Mills previously changed Maine’s Medicaid billing practices to allow sex-change treatments to be covered under Medicaid, a taxpayer-funded medical welfare program for low-income or indigent persons.

The victim’s family is exploring their legal options and is considering a lawsuit against the pharmaceutical companies that provided the estrogen therapy drugs to the suspect since the attack occurred only weeks after the suspect began hormone replacement therapy.
