Warren, Ocasio-Cortez attempt to justify cold-blooded killing of United Healthcare CEO

WASHINGTON, DC - Pocahontas “speak with forked tongue.” Just over a week after United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson was gunned down by an unhinged lunatic in front of a New York City hotel in a targeted shooting, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), the fake Indian, seemed to show sympathy for the killer, Luigi Mangione, 26.

Warren, an increasingly unhinged senile progressive, claimed “people can only be pushed so far” in an attempt to justify Thompson’s assassination, the New York Post reports.

“The visceral response from people across the country who feel cheated, ripped off, and threatened by the vile practices of their insurance companies should be a warning to everyone in the health care system,” Warren screeched in an interview with the Huffington Post.

“Violence is never the answer, but people can only be pushed so far.”

As a point of information, United Healthcare reports that Mangione was never a customer of the company. It is, therefore, unknown why he targeted the company’s CEO.

After getting eviscerated on social media for her comments, Warren tried to walk back her statement.

“Violence is never the answer. Period. I should have been much clearer that there is never a justification for murder.”

Mangione appeared to hold a grudge against the health insurance industry, which was supposed to be fixed when Obamacare was forced down the throats of Americans thanks to Chief Justice John Roberts’ pretzel twisting of the legislation.

Warren wasn’t alone in cheering for Mangione’s actions. Former New York Times and Washington Post “journalist” Taylor Lorenz, whose claim to fame was doxxing the founder of Libs of TikTok, said she found “joy” in Thompson’s killing during a segment on Piers Morgan’s podcast, “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” the New York Post reported.

“This is a warning that if you push people hard enough, they lose faith in the ability of their government to make change, lose faith in the ability of people who are providing the health care to make change, and start to take matters into their own hands in ways that will ultimately be a threat to everyone,” Warren continued to Huffington Post.

Warren is a longtime critic of the US healthcare system and has repeatedly advocated for a single-payer system.

Warren wasn’t the only Democrat who couldn’t care less about Thompson’s murder. New York’s resident bartender and congressperson Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) argued that Americans “feel and experience denied claims as an act of violence against them,” seeking to justify Mangione’s act of senseless violence.

“This is not to comment, and this is not to say that an act of violence is justified, but I think for anyone who is confused, or is shocked, or appalled, they need to understand that people interpret, and feel and experience denied claims as an act of violence against them.

“People go homeless over the financial devastation of a diagnosis that doesn’t get addressed or the amount they’re going to have to cover with a surprise bill and things like that,” Ocasio-Cortez continued.

“When we talk about how systems are violent in this country, in this passive way, our privatized healthcare system is like that for a huge amount of Americans,” she said, claiming she didn’t have health insurance until she was elected to Congress. Of course, now she gets a Cadillac healthcare plan paid for by the American people and is immune from Obamacare.

Not all lawmakers were on board with Warren and Ocasio-Cortez’s chilly responses to the slaying. Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), who seems to be one of the more sensible Democrats these days, slammed the slaying and the related cheerleading for the killer.

“The public execution of an innocent man and father of two is indefensible, not ‘inevitable.’ Condoning and cheering this on says more about YOU than the situation of health insurance,” he wrote on X.

“The cold-blooded murder of the United Healthcare CEO is not cause for celebration or an ‘opportunity to vent.’ It is barbarism for which there should be no tolerance. Any civilization that celebrates cold-blooded murder is sowing the seeds of its own downfall,” Rep. Richie Torres (D-NY) wrote on X.

Meanwhile, in the aftermath of the Thompson slaying, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) is warning executives of US healthcare companies of a heightened risk to their lives. The warning came after an online “hit list” was posted in the wake of Thompson’s assassination, The Guardian reports.

In response, major corporations, even those outside the healthcare realm, have been scrambling to add additional security to their senior executives.

The NYPD warning, issued in the form of a bulletin, was in response to viral posts naming the names and salaries of other healthcare executives. According to ABC News, in addition to the social media posts, “wanted signs” featuring corporate CEOs and other officials were posted around Manhattan

The NYPD bulletin urged companies to increase security for their executives, noting that the allegations against Mengione had the “capability to inspire a variety of extremists and grievance-driven malicious actors to violence.”

“Both prior to and after the suspected perpetrator’s identification and arrest, some online users across social media platforms reacted positively to the killing, encouraged future targeting of similar executives, and shared conspiracy theories regarding the shooting,” the bulletin added.

Global Guardian, a security firm, confirmed it had received 70 inquiries from companies within the first 36 hours after Thompson’s murder.

“It’s a huge wake-up call. The mood changed dramatically in a very short period of time,” Seth Krummrich, Global Guardian’s vice-president, told CNN.

As evidence of the unhinged lunacy, KOMO in Seattle reports that one of their news photographers spotted a worrisome message on a portable electronic road sign along a busy highway in the city last week.

Located along the southbound lanes of Highway 99, one screen read, “ONE LESS CEO,” then flashed to a second message reading, “MANY MORE TO GO.”

The Washington State Department of Transportation claims the message signs do not belong to it, and the Seattle Department of Transportation also denies ownership. The sign belongs to a private construction company; however, the message had been removed when a Seattle DOT crew arrived to investigate it. KOMO said it is unknown who tampered with the sign.

The area where the sign was posted sees about 62,000 commuters daily.
