Andrew Trakas is a veteran, former firefighter, and entrepreneur with decades of experience in public service, security, and business leadership. He is the founder of Freedom 75, an organization dedicated to honoring veterans and fallen heroes, and a candidate for the United States Senate.
My name is Andrew Trakas, and I am announcing my candidacy for the United States Senate. I am not a career politician. I am a builder, a servant, and a fighter. I am stepping forward because I refuse to sit back while America crumbles under weak leadership and self-serving politics.
I have spent my life serving others. As a firefighter for the City of Ponder, Texas, I learned the true meaning of courage, teamwork, and sacrifice. In the military and private security sector, I served as a squad leader, defense marksman, executive director of security, and chief training officer across multiple units. These experiences forged in me discipline, resilience, and the ability to lead under pressure.
In the private sector, I built a career in accounting, finance, and operations skills that taught me how to manage resources wisely, solve complex problems, and deliver results. As a director of sales strategies, I’ve guided cross-functional teams to record-setting growth. And as the founder of Freedom 75, I’ve worked to honor our fallen heroes, uplift our veterans, and bring Americans together around the values that unite us: service, sacrifice, and freedom.
I am a Conservative because I believe in the principles that built this nation: faith, family, hard work, personal responsibility, and freedom. I remain a Conservative because those principles are under attack, and America needs leaders who will defend them, not compromise them for political convenience.
I am running for the United States Senate because I want to build an America our children will be proud to inherit. An America where:

Faith, family, and freedom are preserved.
But principles alone are not enough; we must act. Here are my priorities:
The Economy. A strong economy is built on hard work, innovation, and opportunity, not bloated government control. Families should not have to choose between paying bills and buying groceries. I will fight to reform our tax system so that the lower and middle class can keep more of their hard-earned money, while making sure massive corporations pay their fair share. Everyone who works deserves a shot at the American Dream.
Border Security & Immigration. Every nation has a right and a responsibility to defend its borders. We need a secure, lawful immigration system that welcomes those who follow the rules and contributes to our communities, while stopping those who traffic drugs, violence, and crime. I will fight for strong border security and a fair immigration system that works for Americans.
Education. Our children deserve the best education in the world, but instead, too many are trapped in a system that is failing them. Parents deserve a voice in their child’s education. We must invest in our schools, empower teachers, and make sure the classroom is a place where every child can thrive and dream big.
Healthcare. No one should go broke because they get sick. While politicians bicker, families are drowning under rising medical costs and insurance premiums. I will work for real solutions that put patients and doctors not bureaucrats and insurance companies back in charge of healthcare decisions.
Veterans. As a nation, we owe everything to the men and women who put on the uniform and fight for our freedoms. Yet too many veterans come home and are forgotten. I will fight to expand access to mental health care, job opportunities, and housing for every veteran who served this nation with honor.
My friends, this campaign is not about me; it is about us. It is about restoring opportunity, unity, and pride in America. I am here because I love this country, and I believe we can protect our freedoms, rebuild trust, and strengthen our future.
Together, we will build a stronger, freer, and prouder America.
