WASHINGTON, DC - Radical federal district judge James Boasberg doesn’t have too many fans among the law-abiding contingent of the American people, including those who violent illegal alien gang members have victimized. Last week, Patty Morin, whose daughter Rachel was found dumped in a drain near a trail in Maryland eighteen months ago, slammed Boasberg, who is attempting to single-handedly undermine national security.
Rachel Morin, a 37-year-old mother of five, was raped and murdered by an illegal alien from El Salvador. His trial is scheduled to begin with jury selection this week.
Mrs. Morin told The New York Post that deportations ordered by President Trump, especially those of violent gang members, must continue. She expressed solid support for Trump as the administration is taking the fight to the United States Supreme Court in trying to deport the most violent illegal aliens, at least to start.
“It’s good because I really believe that judges are overstepping their boundaries,” she said. “I think that the liberal media is playing that up again, hoping the American citizens don’t know or understand our laws.”
Earlier this month, President Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act, a 1798 law that permits the president to deport members of state-sponsored terrorist groups, which Trump has dubbed Tren de Aragua, a violent Venezuelan gang. Trump shipped over 100 enemy combatants out of the country to an El Salvadoran prison.
However, Boasberg, a radical partisan, issued a nationwide temporary restraining order blocking further deportations under the act and recently extended the block through April 12. After the DC Circuit of Appeals panel denied an administration appeal of Boasberg’s order, the Department of Justice sent an expedited appeal to the Supreme Court. The administration argues that a single district judge has no authority to issue a nationwide block. Moreover, under the Alien Enemies Act, the executive branch has sole authority and is not subject to judicial review, according to an earlier Supreme Court decision.
The spate of unelected district judges imposing their will on the administration has spurred House Republicans to hold hearings this week on judicial overreach being implemented by partisan judges in cherry-picked liberal areas. Some Republicans have, in the case of Boasberg, called for his impeachment, a rare, though not unprecedented, move. However, any such impeachment would be nearly impossible to follow through in the Senate, with the 60-vote threshold appearing insurmountable.
Morin laid the blame for her daughter’s death and the danger imposed by dangerous illegal aliens squarely on Joe Biden and his administration’s open border policies. Since Trump was inaugurated, border crossings have slowed to a trickle.
“They put every American citizen in harm’s way, every American citizen, and especially the most vulnerable, which are women and children,” Mrs. Morin said.
She also slammed Democrats who are speaking out about stopping the deportation flights, which she said is intended to stir up chaos.
“I think this is just a weak attempt by Democrats and liberals just to stir up chaos and fear–which is the only thing they really know how to do,” she said. “It really saddens me that all these politicians choose to harbor people that have committed federal crime.”
Continuing, she said, “I don’t understand. The law should be black and white; either you break the law or you uphold the law. There’s no gray area.”
Rachel Morin was killed on the Ma and Pa Heritage Trail in Bel Air, Maryland, in August 2023.
Victor Martinez Hernandez, 23, was arrested and charged in her death after a 10-month manhunt. He is charged with first-degree murder and rape.
Mrs. Morin was a frequent guest on the campaign trail during the presidential sweepstakes and after he took office, one of the “Angel Moms” who lost a child to the consequences of Biden’s open borders. During the campaign, President Trump promised to launch a mass deportation program and to secure the borders. He has been successful on the latter, however, radical judges like Boasberg have been holding up the former.
A Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted this month found that 60% of respondents favor increasing deportations of illegal aliens. This puts Democrats in a precarious position; either defend President Trump’s policies, which is akin to drinking hemlock, or take the side of violent illegal aliens. It appears that, for now, Democrats have chosen to protect violent illegal aliens.
It will be up to the United States Supreme Court to decide if an elected president, under his Article II powers, has the right to rid the country of illegals who have been designated as terrorists and enemy combatants, as part of his plenary powers. Or, do unelected judges, who have no such constitutional authority, get to run the country?
If SCOTUS decides on the latter, we will be in unprecedented territory and face a genuine constitutional crisis.

A question: Why did the bidet and oenema regimes permit, if not encourage that flow of lowest criminality? My opinion would be, at the behest of socialist/communist masters. If so, why would their wealthy masters order their puppets to do so? In my view/personal opinion, to advance the destruction of the U.S.A. and Western way of life. Some may chortle over the threat of a one world government, but I do not. Analyze, critically analyze that which is before you and you might arrive at similar conclusions. Pelosi is worth about 225 million. Shumer is worth about 75 million. It must be nice.
