WASHINGTON, DC - A new report from The Center Square coinciding with President Joe Biden's announcement of a planned expansion of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program revealed that in the first five years of the new program, nearly 80,000 illegal immigrants were released into the U.S. with prior criminal records.

According to Center Square, Biden made the announcement Tuesday that he would expand DACA to increase protections and job opportunities on the 12-year anniversary of the creation of DACA. The outlet noted though that a USCIS report, covering the first five years after DACA was implemented, from June 2012 to October 2019, had revealed that almost 80,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records, even for violent crimes, were released in the US on DACA status.

According to the report from USCIS, over 25,000 of the criminals released under DACA had prior driving-related arrests, nearly 13,000 were immigration violations, almost 8,000 were for theft or larceny, nearly 7,000 were drug-related, and a little over 4,000 were for Driving under the influence.

Over a thousand were arrested for "Sexual abuse, statutory rape, etc.""Indecent exposure, lewd/lascivious acts, etc., and Other illegal sex-related acts." Over 43,000 of these illegal immigrant criminals were arrested multiple times, and over a hundred of them were arrested ten times or more.

Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) took the Biden Administration to task during a hearing Wednesday.

Congressman Tim Burchett revealed the figures in a post to X, writing "Here’s a list of some of the DACA folks Biden let in. People arrested for SEX CRIMES should not be allowed."

As reported by Trending Politics' Collin Rugg, Biden marked the event with a press conference that found him visibly struggling to speak as he thanked Congress members and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. He told the gathered press, "Thanks to all the members of Congress and Homeland Security... Secretary... ughya... uhhh... ima... not sure you're gonna..." before trailing off momentarily.

Folks... we are going to have a WAR in this country...AFTER we secede from the BLUE CORRUPT STATES.

Michael

While those numbers seem alarming. I'm in no way condoning illegal immigration, but I do have a little soft spot for the DACA Dreamers. Many were brought here, not of their own choices at very young ages, and grew up here. As with most statistics, one can make them show a specific POV depending how presented. For example, I wonder, if we took the same size random sampling of naturally born citizens of the same age groups of the DACA, if we would see the same distribution of cited crimes. I surmise we would, maybe even a bit higher.
