Capitol police officer who was present at US Capitol on J6: "January 6 was NOT an insurrection"

WASHINGTON, DC - Insurrection: An organized attempt by a group of people to defeat their government and take control of their country, usually by violence.” 

Anyone who isn’t a rabid leftist or has a “D” next to their name in the government knows the January 6 US Capitol siege was anything but an insurrection. Does anyone honestly believe that a group of people numbering in the thousands, few of whom were armed, could “defeat their government” and “take control of their country?”

You’d have to be a raging lunatic to believe that. 

As a piece in WND opines, the “insurrectionists” would have needed the ability to “take control of the decision-making positions, the administration, the courts, the military, the money, and more.” Does anyone believe the “QAnon Shaman” would be giving the next State of the Union address? Please. 

Did the protest get out of hand? Clearly, in some cases, it did. Were any members of the House or Senate in any real danger? Possibly. When you have a group of that many individuals, there is bound to be a crazy or two in there. Maybe even an embedded FBI agent or informant or two. 

Since the so-called “insurrection,” we have seen similar, equally or more violent “protests” taking place across the country, including in the state house in Tennessee and in front of conservative Supreme Court Justices’ homes. Yet those are defined as “exercising First Amendment rights.” 

On January 6, 2021, a group of concerned citizens gathered to “peacefully and patriotically make [their] voices heard.” That was the admonition of then-President Trump, and an overwhelming majority of those who marched to the Capitol did as the president instructed. 3

They were people who went to bed on Election Night in 2020 with President Trump holding comfortable leads in several swing states, including Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. When they woke up the following day, Joe Biden had allegedly won the election. And they were angry.

Later on, they found that anger was well-founded when it was discovered that leftists such as Mark Zuckerberg had poured hundreds of millions of dollars into election interference attempts. 

We’ve already seen the painting of the protest as an “insurrection” sway at least one group of judges in Colorado, who ruled that President Trump cannot appear on that state’s presidential ballot in 2024, a decision that the Supreme Court will likely throw out. Trump has never been charged with insurrection, so making the claim he is somehow ineligible on that basis is a stretch of epic proportions. 

However, WND reports that a law enforcement insider has come forward and said the events of January 6, 2021, were not an “insurrection.” 

Tarik Johnson is a former lieutenant with the US Capitol Police Department and made several statements on social media, as documented by the Washington Stand, including: 

“I’ve been saying publicly for a year that J6 was not an insurrection, but not many people would listen.” 

Johnson was the officer at the US Capitol who ordered the evacuations of the House and Senate. He claims that the so-called “Deep State” in DC has been attempting to silence him. 

According to Johnson: 

"Vivek Ramaswamy got a lot right in this interview. I’ve been saying publicly for a year that J6 was not an insurrection but not many people would listen. Ironically so, no one would benefit more than I if J6 was an insurrection as I (Tarik Johnson) was the Commander that ordered and led the evacuations of the Senate and the House during the J6 breach after begging former Assistant Chief Yogananda Pittman for permission to do so as she sat comfortably in the Command Center watching the events unfold on CCTV while Chief Steven A.

"Sund was obtaining National Guard approval and getting assistance from local law enforcement agencies. 

"Pittman flat-out ignored me so I was forced to forge ahead with the evacuations without obtaining approval from her. Three days later I decided to call Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont to report Pittman’s malfeasance and approximately an hour after I got off the phone with the senator I was contacted by the USCP internal affairs section and informed I was suspended.

"The suspension lasted for 17 months and I was under a USCP gag order not to speak about the events of January 6, 2021 to the media until I separated from the Department. 

"I was also required to remain in my house Monday through Friday from the hours of 8 am to 4 pm and unable to step off my property without notifying the USCP for fear of being disciplined up to and including termination during those 17 months. Those are SOME of many facts USCP Chief J. Thomas Manger (who is arguably the most corrupt politician in the country) was brought in to cover-up.

The Washington Stand reported that Lt. Johnson was “begging” Pittman for permission to evacuate and eventually went forward without her consent. He was then abruptly suspended. 

The “X” post responded to a video of Republican presidential hopeful Ramaswamy appearing at a CNN town hall event where the discussion turned to January 6. 

“If you had told me [in 2021] that January 6 was in any way an inside job, the subject of government entrapment, I would have told you that was crazy talk, fringe conspiracy nonsense,” Ramaswamy said. “I can tell you now, having gone somewhat deep in this–it’s not.” 

WND has previously reported on Ramaswamy’s comments. He alleged that not only was January 6 a government cover-up, but also many other issues were as well.

“I want to tell you guys where I’m at. If you had told me–it’s close to three years ago that January 6, 2021 happened. If you told me back when I was a biotech CEO, not steeped in this world. I was consuming passive media but was focused on my world of developing medicines. If you told me January 6th was in any way an inside job, the subject of government entrapment, I would have told you that was crazy talk. Fringe conspiracy theory nonsense.

“I can tell you, having gone somewhat deep in this, it’s not. The reality is this. We do have a government that we have knowledge of that has lied to us systematically over the last several years about the origins of COVID-19, about the Hunter Biden laptop we were told was false by 51 CIA experts, and otherwise before we now know it was true.

"You can go straight down the list, the Trump-Russia disinformation collusion hoax. All of it. Now we come to January 6th. The reality is we know that there were federal law enforcement agents in the field. We don’t know how many.” 

Since that date, it has been discovered there were FBI assets embedded in the crowd of Trump supporters, WND reported, both at the Trump rally before the march to the Capitol and then in the Capitol protest itself. 

Trump supporters’ belief that the election was somehow stolen from him was supported when it was discovered the extent to which leftists attempted to infiltrate and influence the election, which included the infusion of hundreds of millions of dollars from Facebook oligarch Zuckerberg. 

It has also been discovered that the FBI influenced social media companies to suppress accurate information from the Hunter Biden laptop, information that provided troubling details about Hunter Biden’s business dealings and their connections to Joe Biden. 

The New York Post, which broke the story about the Biden laptop, had its (then) Twitter account shut down after it posted the story on its platform. Other social media companies such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google also throttled the story. It was later discovered through polling that if voters knew about the laptop, it could have swayed the election to Trump. 

Now, a respected former member of the US Capitol Police has come forward and put a hole in the insurrection narrative that was used to impeach Trump a second time and is being used in at least two criminal cases against him. 

Hopefully, former Lt. Tarik Johnson watches his six. We’ve seen what happens when someone goes up against the Deep State.

As Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) let out when he said the quiet part out loud to MSNBC mouthpiece Rachel Maddow:  “Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” he told Maddow. “So even for a practical, supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he’s being really dumb to do this.”
