Mar A Lago, FL: A recent high-profile gala held at Trump's Mar A Lago estate, which included several of America's finest from the law enforcement and political community, was organized to support a nonprofit organization supporting police officers, the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Foundation.
The goal of the event was to bring notable influential public figures, law enforcement professionals, and government officials together to raise awareness and bring in donations for the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Foundation which provides immediate assistance to police officers during times of personal crisis.
The professional security company that provides armored protection and other security services, Clear-Armor, recently donated a beautiful up-armored Jeep Gladiator to help raise money for the law enforcement community.
Clear-Armor is a company specializing in security services and equipment. According to Senior VP Mario O. Martin, the donation was personal.
"Every day, the law enforcement officers and first responders who serve throughout the country sacrifice to protect the safety of our communities. Clear-Armor appreciates and respects their work and sacrifices, and we wanted to show our support by donating our own up-armored Jeep Gladiator in hopes that it will raise much-needed awareness and financial assistance to help officers and their families during any type of hardship," Mario said.
Their major contribution did not go unnoticed. Visitors and guests were enthralled when they saw the up-armored Jeep displayed at the Big Blue Bash. One such person was Mathew Silverman, president of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association.
“Once I heard that Clear-Armor was donating a brand-new Jeep, I just couldn’t believe it. They stepped up in a major way, and it’s going to help officers who really need it,” Silverman told LET.
One of the challenges with receiving assistance during hardship is the how long it takes for employee benefits to kick in. According to Silverman, that is why his organization created the nonprofit arm for the FLEOA.
“When an officer is experiencing a crisis, we don’t want them to wait for help. So we created the Foundation to cut through the red tape and get them the help they need right away. It’s one less thing for them to worry about during their difficult time,” Silverman said.
