He described the effort as "designed to radicalize" Trump and his supporters by the Harris campaign.
During a Monday appearance with CNN host Abby Phillip and a panel of commentators debating how Democrat rhetoric and the attempts on President Donald Trump's life are related, Jennings asked, “I have to say, when I see what Democratic politicians say about Donald Trump, when I see what Democratic commentators say about Donald Trump, and their platform is built on a bunch of lies, frankly, that are designed to radicalize a political base, it makes me wonder … How much do they really care about the violence that you and I both agree is terrible?”
As reported by The New York Post, he blasted Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign for heating up the rhetoric and inspiring fear in her supporters over what a Trump presidency would entail. “The underpinning of her campaign, I mean, she repeats it herself, ‘Trump will be a dictator on day one.’ I mean, this country fights dictators. That‘s what our history — we fight dictators.”
I’m not interested in “the rhetoric on both sides” today. Trump is the target. He’s survived two assassination attempts. He’s in danger and it’s probably too late to de-radicalize everyone who thinks the country will end if he wins. My latest for @cnn pic.twitter.com/4xD2NXGWT4

Jennings cited several examples such as Trump's quip during a townhall hosted by Sean Hannity that he wouldn't be a dictator "except for day one," a comment Trump qualified adding, "Other than day one — we’re closing the border, and we’re drilling, drilling, drilling. After that, I’m not a dictator.”
He also noted Trump's famous description of an economic "bloodbath" in the automotive industry which has been continuously mischaracterized. “It is said by every Democrat working for or around [Harris’] campaign every day on this network and every other one,” Jennings told the panel. “The bloodbath thing is stated every single day.”
Kamala repeats the “bloodbath” hoax and claims Trump said there will be a bloodbath if he’s not elected.

The full clip shows Trump was referring to the auto industry.
Kamala obviously knows this and is hoping you don’t see the full clip. pic.twitter.com/4IMOScjLXL
Phillip confirmed, "Use of the word ‘bloodbath’ when he was talking about vehicle manufacturing jobs in the United States, Vice President Harris improperly and unfairly mischaracterized that as him saying there would be a bloodbath if he were elected."
But then went on to falsely claim that "she did not say that if Trump were elected, there would be a bloodbath." However, this claim is easily disproven by the 2024 debate video, which clearly shows Harris saying, "Donald Trump the candidate has said in this election that there will be a bloodbath if this and the outcome of this election is not to his liking."
Jennings refuted her, arguing that the radicalizing narratives are part and parcel to the DNC strategy. “I know you have interviewed and had people out here and have watched the same coverage I have. The ‘bloodbath’ garbage, it is a pillar of the Democratic campaign against Trump, as is ‘dictator,’ as is ‘eliminate the US Constitution.’”
He cited the often trod mischaracterization of Trump's comments on the Congress looking beyond the confines of the constitution when confronted with massive electoral fraud issues as it did with the Compromise of 1877.
