Dallas Murder Suspect Kicked Victim’s Head 'Like A Soccer Ball' After Beheading, ICE Says

DALLAS, TX- In a disgusting and disturbing case out of Dallas, an illegal alien from Cuba was arrested by police on homicide charges after using a machete to behead a merchant during an argument in front of the victim’s family, according to a press release from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Fox News Digital reports. 

Yodanis Cobos-Martinez then kicked the victim’s head “around like a soccer ball,” the press release said. 

Cobos-Martinez is being held without bail at the Dallas County Jail, and ICE has issued a detainer for federal arrest and deportation, ICE said.

He has a lengthy criminal history, ICE said, including crimes of sexual abuse, grand theft auto, false imprisonment, and carjacking. 

The suspect had a prior final order of removal to Cuba and was most recently in ICE Dallas custody before the Biden administration released him on an order of supervision, the ICE release said. ICE further said his release occurred because Cuba declined to accept him into the country due to his criminal record. 

“This vile monster beheaded this man in front of his wife and child and proceeded to kick the victim’s head on the ground,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughtlin said in a statement.

“This gruesome, savage slaying of a victim at a motel by Yordanis Cobos-Martinez was completely preventable if this criminal illegal alien was not released into our country by the Biden administration, since Cuba would not take him back.” 

“This is exactly why we are removing criminal illegal aliens to third countries. President Trump and Secretary Noem are no longer allowing barbaric criminals to indefinitely remain in America. If you come to our country illegally, you could end up in Eswatini, Uganda, South Sudan, or CECOT.” 

Neither ICE nor the Dallas Police Department immediately responded to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
