WASHINGTON, DC – Homeland Security issued a press release earlier in November detailing how Operation Midway Blitz, the broad immigration enforcement operation in the sanctuary state of Illinois, is resulting in the arrests of illegal aliens charged with DUI.
The agency highlighted how these targeted arrests are meant to honor the untimely death of a young woman killed by an illegal alien drunk behind the wheel.
On January 19th, 20-year-old Katie Abraham and 21-year-old Chloe Polzin were out with some friends in Urbana at roughly 2:00 a.m. to get something to eat when tragedy struck while the duo and their friends were seated in a vehicle at a red light.
Driving in an SUV while intoxicated was 29-year-old Julio Cucul-Bol, who crashed into the stopped vehicle before fleeing the scene. The resulting impact from the crash killed Abraham and Polzin and injured the other passengers.
Cucul-Bol is an illegal alien from Guatemala, a fact that brought the problems associated with illegal immigration to the forefront in Illinois considering the state is routinely described as a sanctuary for illegal aliens.
While Cucul-Bol was recently sentenced to 30 years in prison for the deaths of the young women, Homeland Security noted in a November 11th press release that the agency is getting to the root of the problem by “arresting criminal illegal alien drunk drivers across Illinois.”
The agency detailed a list of some of the arrestees apprehended by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) throughout Midway Blitz’s operational kickoff since September who harbored various prior DUI arrests and convictions.
The father of Abraham, Joe, has been vocal regarding the problems associated with sanctuary cities and states since his daughter’s death. In a statement from the deceased woman’s father shared by Homeland Security, he emphasized how his daughter’s death “was preventable” but political figures like Illinois Governor JB Pritzker “have not treated immigration as a matter of public safety or national security.”

- Hubert Stanislaw Solek, a criminal illegal alien from Poland, was convicted of DUI after overstaying his visa which required he leave the country in 2015

- Olegario Gomez-Perez, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, has multiple prior DUI convictions
- Francisco Velasquez Lopez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, has several past DUI convictions

Governor Fat Boy Prickster and the moronic Chitcago Mayor Johnson both have blood on their hands for allowing these drunken criminal illegal aliens to be unleashed on innocent citizens. Both Prickster and Johnson should be in prison for ignoring federal law and abetting the illegal aliens crimes.
