Washington, D.C.: The troubles continue to seep out for disgraced Rep. Tony Gonzalez as more disturbing allegations make their way to the media.
Gonzales recently resigned from his position with the US House of Representatives.
The New York Post reported that ex-Rep Tony Gonzales went behind his wife’s back in 2020 and attempted to cheat on her with a campaign employee while he was running for congressional office, but fell short and struck out with the older staffer.
A media outlet initially revealed that Gonzales begged the woman, his campaign director, to send him sexually charged images years before his rendezvous with another woman, Regina Santos-Aviles, who committed suicide by setting herself on fire last year.
The woman, now 60, who chose to remain anonymous, shared several sexually troubling text messages with a news source.
Among the messages included requests for her to “squeeze my balls” and requested “What kind of panties do you wear?” Another distressing message warned her with, “I know what I want and won't stop until I get it.”
The New York Post also reported that Gonzales told a subordinate to “help me fantasize about c___ing inside you”. The Post stated that it has not independently verified the statement.
But by all accounts, it seems probable.
Media sources revealed other messages from Gonzales, who assured the woman that he would delete any images sent to him.
He wrote to the staffer, “You’re beautiful,” and “I want to spread your legs”.
The anonymous woman told the media that she was toughened from her service in the military, and the inappropriate comments didn’t get to her.
“I’m retired from the Army, and I’m used to the bad boys’ behavior,” she told the media. “I’ve had to deal with it, unfortunately, my whole career, and this has got to stop. I’m 60.”
She added, “Tony never bothered me as far as, like, I didn’t take him that serious, and I know how to say, ‘No.'”
This deviant interaction occurred all while his wife, Angel, was pregnant. They have six children together.
Gonzales recently resigned from office after the massive fallout from an illicit affair with Regina Santos-Aviles. He eventually admitted to the affair and wrote it off as a “mistake” and a “lapse in judgment.”
Other leaked messages contained similar tactics of pressuring Santos-Aviles by requesting her to send him “sexy pics.”
Media experts expect more fallout from this incident, so stay tuned.
