Mr. John Heath, a long-time support member of the Azle Fire Department and USAF veteran, has recently passed away following a devastatingly quick battle with metastatic kidney cancer.

Over the last several months, John had undergone numerous debilitating surgeries and treatments to combat this aggressive cancer. John and his family need support at this time for the financial burdens associated with end of life.

Your donation will help a family that has made an enormous impact in the Azle community.

John and his wife Kathy were founding members of the Azle Fire Department Support Team back in 2004. Throughout the last nineteen years, the couple has selflessly dedicated their heart and soul to the mission of the fire department.

The Heaths have graciously provided entire holiday meals to the on-duty fire and police department crews during Thanksgiving and Christmas on many occasions. John has supported the Azle Fire Department (as well as other surrounding first responder agencies) on numerous critical incidents and training exercises by setting up rehab areas with water and snacks.

His wife Kathy is also a talented fire scene photographer who has captured photos which will forever serve as a memory to those who view them on the firehouse walls.

John always had a way of making others smile whether it be just from his positive presence, or his hilarious “dad jokes.” His visits to the firehouse will be greatly missed but his charitable legacy will forever live on.

John and Kathy have always been a shining example of what it means to have a servant’s heart. It is now time to give back to the Heath family, who has for so long selflessly given to others.

Please assist us in reaching our goal for this well-deserving family and thanking them for their unwavering dedication to the Azle community.
