The mission of We Create Warriors is deeply rooted in the personal experiences of Le Ann Howell and her daughter, Samantha Dellavedova, who are both survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Recognizing a significant gap in survivor support, they founded We Create Warriors in January 2022, officially obtaining 501(c)(3) status in October 2023.

In a world tainted by the harsh realities of violent and sex-based crimes, organizations championing survivor support play a vital role in reshaping lives. "We Create Warriors" stands out as an admirable non-profit, committed to aiding individuals in rebuilding from traumatic experiences such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking.

At its core, We Create Warriors acknowledges the profound impact of violence and abuse on survivors. The organization steps into this often dark and challenging space, providing a comprehensive set of services designed to empower survivors on their journey to recovery and resilience.

A noteworthy aspect of We Create Warriors' approach is its dedication to fostering self-awareness and empowerment through self-defense. Understanding that self-defense is more than a physical skill, the organization recognizes its transformative role in instilling confidence and a sense of control in survivors. By providing these tools, We Create Warriors enables survivors to reclaim agency over their lives.

Counseling is another crucial pillar of support offered by the organization. Recognizing that the scars of trauma extend beyond the individual survivor, We Create Warriors extends its counseling services to include children. This holistic approach aims not only to heal immediate wounds but to break the cycle of abuse, nurturing healthier futures for both survivors and their families.

Furthermore, We Create Warriors demonstrates a commitment to long-term empowerment by offering pathways to education and business mentorship. Guiding survivors toward college opportunities and providing mentorship in entrepreneurial endeavors, the organization opens doors to new possibilities. This strategic investment in education and mentorship is a testament to We Create Warriors' belief in the resilience and potential of those they serve.

In a society grappling with the aftermath of violent and sex-based crimes, We Create Warriors serves as a beacon of hope and support. Through its multifaceted approach, the organization not only aids survivors in immediate recovery but also equips them with tools and resources to rebuild their lives and forge a path toward a brighter future.

As we navigate the complexities of supporting survivors, We Create Warriors emerges as a shining example of what can be achieved when compassion meets action. In empowering survivors and breaking cycles of violence, the organization embodies the spirit of resilience and transformation essential for healing our communities.
