The founder of US Public Safety Jobs, Howard Miller, spoke with Law Enforcement Today about the event and the organization in general. "Public Safety employers across the country are facing a staffing crisis," he said. "At US Public Safety Jobs, we are a team of successful industry talent acquisition and recruiting professionals, subject matter experts, and consultants who are dedicated to helping organizations attract, hire, and retain the best people to protect our communities."

Miller is a military veteran who served as a medic for 10 years. He was assigned to units within the 1st Infantry Division, 44th Medical Brigade, and the 101st Airborne Division.

"Following an honorable discharge from the Army," Miller said, "I became a police officer in the metro-Atlanta area for 22 years. I spent much of my law enforcement career working in Uniform Patrol as a Field Training Officer, followed by Community Outreach positions before becoming the Recruiting and Public Information Sergeant for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.

"Finding success and a genuine passion for telling our story and enhancing the recruiting process, I decided to start my own business to help public safety organizations across the United States attract, hire, and retain the most qualified people available."
