Experts say Biden/Harris, DHS focus on woke equity initiatives is putting the country's national security at risk

WASHINGTON, DC - Many have believed that ever since the Biden administration directed federal agencies to implement an “equity lens” in their operations, the federal government has taken its eyes “off the ball” concerning our national defense and the safety of the American people. Those fears have now been confirmed by some experts.

According to Fox News, experts believe the United States is facing increasing threats from radical Islamic terrorist groups such as ISIS, al Qaeda, and others.

On his first day in office, Joe Biden issued a racial equity executive order, which the Department of Homeland Security implemented, identifying so-called “key” programs to advance racial equity in its approach to combating terrorism.

The program, launched in 2021, was designed to “advance equity at DHS,” which directed how the agency allocated counterterrorism resources, Fox News wrote.

According to the plan, it would “augment efforts to equitably provide communities with the tools and resources they need to prevent…terrorism.”

DHS wrote that its equity plan would implement “a whole-of-society approach to preventing terrorism and targeted violence.” One priority of the program was to avoid being “offensive” about its methods.

“Moving away from previous ‘countering violent extremism’ approaches that targeted specific communities,” the plan said. In other words, if 19 foreigners of a certain persuasion all checked in on airliners at the same time with sketchy travel plans and no return ticket, make sure you’re not “offensive” about how you deal with them.

Included in the DHS program is the Transportation Security Administration, the agency famous for making three-year-olds remove their shoes and little old ladies being subjected to pat-down searches at airport checkpoints. The equity program at DHS identified “barriers to equitable outcomes” at the TSA, and proposed a training program to ensure inequity was reduced.

"Members of the public, especially those from underserved communities, continue to report concerns regarding racial and ethnic profiling during the screening process at airport screening checkpoints,” the DHS plan read. “TSA will develop additional scenario-based trainings for areas of concern for racial and religious communities.”

Some experts, however, are slamming the DHS scheme, calling it “disastrous” for national security.

Former National Security adviser Victoria Coates said, “[DEI] should be eradicated as something that is being promoted by terrorists,” Coates, vice president at the Heritage Foundation said. “This is literally a road to anarchy.”

The administration’s focus on equity extended to border security and deportations, with inept DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in 2021 issuing “Guidelines for the Enforcement of Immigration Law,” which mandated that deportations must be conducted such that they do not “exercise our discretionary authority” in a manner that causes “inequitable outcomes.”

Since that time, encouraged by the Biden/Harris administration’s open border policy, Border Patrol encounters have exploded. In 2021, CBP had one million encounters, which jumped over three times to 3.3 million such encounters in 2023. In 2024 alone, that number is already at 2.5 million encounters and doesn’t include illegal alien “gotaways,” those who evade contact with CBP agents.

The porous border has led to terrorists capitalizing in particular at the southern border.

For example, in June, Tajikistan nationals tied to ISIS were apprehended by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Those arrests followed a report that thousands of “Special Interest Aliens” from the Middle East, including those from areas associated with potential national security risks like terrorism, had been arrested by CBP agents.

Fox News also reported that at least 100 illegal aliens on the terror watchlist have been released into the United States since Biden/Harris took office.

Despite literally putting out the welcome mat for foreign terrorists, the Biden/Harris administration claims that domestic terrorism, not foreign terrorism, is a priority for federal law enforcement, claiming that the government has a role to root out so-called “racism” while “advancing equity.”

“We are therefore prioritizing efforts to ensure that every component of the government has a role to play in rooting out racism and advancing equity for underserved communities that have far too often been the targets of discrimination and violence. This approach must apply to our efforts to counter domestic terrorism by addressing underlying racism and bigotry,” the Biden/Harris administration said in a 2021 memo.

Some experts, however, are slamming the administration’s focus on domestic terrorists, with one expert calling the focus “overhyped” in comparison to that posed by Iran-backed terror groups and other foreign terrorist organizations.

“I do think the greatest threat at the moment is actually Islamic State,” Bill Roggio, a foreign terror expert at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told Fox News Digital. “The threat of an attack here in the United States is indeed greater today than it was during the Trump administration.”

“I have little doubt that terrorists are taking advantage of our porous border,” Roggio continued. “I think it’s just a matter of time before something really bad happens.”

That assessment appears to meld with that of FBI Director Christopher Wray, who in April told Congress that there was increasing “potential for a coordinated attack here in the homeland, akin to the ISIS-K attack we saw at the Russia concert hall.”

That was a reference to an attack at Moscow’s Crocus City concert hall, the worst such terrorist attack in Russia in over 20 years, which left 137 people dead and nearly 200 wounded.

“Looking back over my career in law enforcement, I’d be hard-pressed to think of a time where so many threats to our public safety and national security were so elevated all at once,” Wray said.

“You’ve recently testified that threats ‘have gone to another level’ and foreign terrorists, including ISIS and al Qaeda, have renewed calls for attacks here in the U.S.--can you expand on that?” Wray was asked.

“There are terrorist organizations that don’t typically see eye to eye, but they seem pretty united in calling for one thing: calling for attacks on us,” Wray responded.

The equity initiative in DHS is just one example of how the Biden/Harris administration is abdicating its responsibility to protect the American people. Fox News Digital cited a number or examples, including the Department of Defense’s hiring of a DEI officer who expressed hostility to white people, a State Department hire who called the United States a “failed historic model,” the Department of Defense’s second-in-command who made the statement that policies aimed at “nonbinary identities are essential to military readiness,” and as recently reported in Law Enforcement Today, a Department of Energy hire working in a nuclear program calling for the “queering of nuclear weapons.”

China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, and other enemies who wish for our destruction must be shaking in their boots over this absurd focus on woke nonsense.

National security? We have no national security. The communists in charge at the White House and DHS have invited our enemies to come and destroy us and opened the border for them to enter.

This sick agenda is at the very least, TREASON perpetrated upon the citizens of America, and should be prosecuted as such !!!
