In April of 2019, Emerson Oliveri was surprised by Connecticut police departments while filming an episode of Behind the Uniforms. She was presented with a custom uniform and ID card, sworn in by the Police Chief and more.
Emerson, whose father is a police officer in New Jersey, was a miracle baby. Doctors said she'd never survive childbirth. Then they gave her a 10% chance of living. She was 13 years old when she was sworn in as an "officer."
