Former professional soccer player and law enforcement officer Tally Hall knows a thing or two about asking more from his body.
Before putting on the badge, Hall spent eight seasons in Major League Soccer, including years as a starting goalkeeper for the Houston Dynamo. After retiring from professional soccer, he traded one uniform for another and joined the Orlando Police Department.
That combination makes Hall uniquely familiar with physical performance, recovery, stress, and the toll that demanding careers can take over time.
It also made him a natural skeptic when he first tried Super Patch.
In a recent testimonial shared with Law Enforcement Today, Hall explained that he initially expected the patches to be something like taking a daily vitamin. You use it because you believe it may be good for you, but you do not necessarily expect to notice a difference from one day to the next.
His experience, he said, was different.
Hall tried the Victory Patch, which Super Patch developed for athletic performance, during his workouts. Rather than simply trusting that something might be happening behind the scenes, Hall said he felt like he could push himself further during training.
For someone whose life has included both professional athletics and law enforcement, that caught his attention.
Super Patch says Victory is designed to support strength, power, agility, endurance, and recovery without stimulants or drugs. Like the company's other products, the patch contains no medication. Instead, Super Patch's proprietary Vibrotactile Trigger Technology, or VTT, uses patterns built into the patch that the company says interact with the body's sensory system and trigger specific neural responses.
Hall described it more simply: a tactile response that communicates with the nervous system.
But pushing harder is only half of the equation. Eventually, the body has to recover.
For Hall, that brought him to the REM Patch.
Poor sleep is something countless first responders understand, and Hall directly connected some of his own sleep difficulties to his law enforcement career. Officers do not always get the luxury of winding down on a predictable schedule after a predictable day. Shift work, stress, adrenaline, and the simple difficulty of mentally turning off after the job can follow an officer home.
Hall said using the REM Patch helped him get longer, deeper rest.
That is exactly the type of problem Super Patch says REM was created to address. The company describes the patch as a drug-free option designed to support deeper, more restorative sleep without the morning grogginess associated with some sleep aids.
Hall even described bringing Super Patch into another important part of his life: time with his family. His experience with the Peace Patch, which Super Patch developed around stress management and calm, reinforced a larger point about the company's approach.
First responders do not stop being human when the shift ends.
They still want to train. They need to recover. They need sleep. They need to decompress, reconnect with their families, and be present for the people waiting for them at home.
That is why testimonials like Hall's resonate.
Super Patch has not approached first-responder wellness as a single problem requiring a single answer. Its lineup includes patches developed around different parts of the day and different challenges, from physical performance and recovery to sleep, focus, stress, and discomfort.
And increasingly, the people trying them are telling LET about the results they are noticing for themselves.
For officers accustomed to taking care of everyone else first, finding tools that can fit easily into an already demanding routine may be worth a closer look.
