Media Can’t Help Itself - Again Accuses President Trump of Making Nazi Salute From White House Roof

WASHINGTON, DC- You do not hate the media enough. 

Surely you recall the infamous “Hitler salute” the media insisted Elon Musk made during a speech earlier this year, even though Democrats from Obama to Ocasio-Cortez to Booker have made the exact same gesture. 

The latest image to get the media’s panties in a collective bunch was what the Daily Mirror called a “bizarre moment” during which President Trump allegedly “performed a very unusual gesture” while walking the roof of the White House. For those who don’t follow left-wing media closely, the Daily Mirror is a British tabloid that battles the National Enquirer for the veracity of its stories. ChatGPT describes the rag as a tabloid “focusing on sensational stories, celebrity gossip,” etc. No kidding. 

The issue in question contained the following “headlines” in its politics section:

Mikey Smith, Deputy Political Editor, is especially enamored of the president. What grown man calls himself “Mikey,” by the way? 

Mikey, as he likes to be called, clearly doesn’t know President Trump, or more likely, doesn’t care to. He took the piece to criticize the president for “paving over the famous Rose Garden,” which is a complete fabrication. An outdoor patio was installed where the Rose Garden once stood; it wasn’t “paved over.” 

He then took to leveling at Trump over the construction of a ballroom on the side of the East Wing, which “Mikey” claims “closely resemble[s] the ballroom in his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.” 

During the media event, the president was asked why he was on the roof of the White House. In true Trumpian style, he shouted he was going to put “missiles, Nuclear missiles” on the roof of the White House, clearly speaking in jest. 

Where the president made his “mistake” in the eyes of “Mikey” was when he pointed to the roof of the White House, then pointed to the sky twice. Uh oh…shades of the leftist boogeyman Adolf Hitler! Yes! That Adolf Hitler! The one emulated by AOC, Corey Booker, Barack Obama, and countless other politicians who make the apparently fatal mistake of holding an arm straight up. 

“He pointed to the roof of the White House beneath his feet, then made a stiff-armed gesture, twice.” Twice? Not once but twice? Clearly, Trump was signaling Heil Hitler!

But it was already out there, and Mikey made sure to tie the president’s gesture to that of Musk at one of the president’s inauguration celebration events. 

‘But the furore [sic] around a similar gesture Elon Musk compared at a party to celebrate his inauguration, it’s likely his critics will note the gesture’s similarity to a Nazi salute.” 

See how that works? Democrats make the exact same gesture, and it’s met with a collective yawn by the mainstream media.
