WASHINGTON, DC - As radical far-left judges engage in a judicial coup against President Trump, Congressional Republicans have had about enough.
According to Fox News Digital, the House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing next week exploring the issue of “activist judges,” according to people familiar with the discussions.
The move by Republicans comes as the administration has been impeded by far-left federal district judges who have imposed over a dozen nationwide injunctions on Trump policies, from banning transgenders in the military to shutting down USAID, and deporting violent illegal criminal alien gang members from the United States.
The Washington, D.C. Court of Appeals heard oral arguments Monday during which one judge, a rabid leftist appointed by Obama made the absurd claim that illegal Tren de Aragua gang members were being treated “worse than Nazis” in World War II.
On Wednesday, the court agreed to continue the temporary block imposed on the administration by rabid partisan US District Judge James Boasberg, usurping President Trump’s Article II authority to deport national security threats under the Alien Enemies Act. The president declared Tren de Aragua foreign combatants under the Act, and a number of them were deported to an El Salvador prison. The rulings by unhinged judges are setting the stage for a constitutional crisis where unelected judges are attempting to dictate American foreign policy. The administration is expected to appeal the appeals court ruling to the United States Supreme Court.
Congressional Republicans are now taking matters into their own hands, as the Constitution makes no provisions for any courts other than the Supreme Court. Congress authorizes courts other than SCOTUS, and House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) told Fox News’ America’s Newsroom that hearings would be held on activist judges soon.
Jordan said a floor vote on a bill proposed by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) to block district judges from issuing nationwide injunctions may be expected next week. Sources told Fox News they expected a vote next week or the week after; however, another source said conversations were ongoing.
Still other Republicans are proposing more drastic measures, with Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) filing a bill seeking Boasberg’s impeachment. Boasberg, who has gone out of his way to protect violent Venezuelan gang members, showed no such mercy for January 6 defendants in his courtrooms, sentencing some elderly defendants to lengthy prison terms for merely trespassing outside the US Capitol. He is clearly compromised by his political beliefs and an apparent disdain for President Trump.
According to John Solomon’s “Just the News,” Boasberg attended a privately-funded legal conference in Idaho only months before his controversial order blocking deportations of illegal alien gang members. The event featured speakers “who have expressed clear anti-Trump sentiments–particularly on immigration–and a theme that echoed the Democrat Party’s 2024 stated mission of saving democracy,” a judicial ethics report read.
Just the News reached out to Boasberg for comment, however, he didn’t respond. The conference was part of the Rodel Institute’s Judicial Fellowship, which is funded by the same foundations that sponsor anti-Trump programs, including the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, The Brennand Center for Justice, which has been the recipient of millions from socialist billionaire George Soros, the Henry Luce Foundation, which funds pro-illegal alien groups, and the Hewlett Foundation, another anti-Trump group.
Rep. Gill, who has “a close relationship” with President Trump, told Fox News Digital earlier this month that he hoped the impeachment proposal would go through the regular committee process, however, it isn’t clear if those plans have changed since House Republicans seem to favor Issa’s bill. Impeachment might pass the House but would face probable insurmountable odds in the Senate to overcome the filibuster-proof requirement of 60 votes.
President Trump is said to favor Issa’s bill, with sources telling Fox News Digital last week that “the president wants this.”
Three other House Republicans have filed articles of impeachment against Boasberg, including Reps. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.), Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.), and Eli Crane (R-Ariz.). If any of those resolutions is classified as “privileged,” it would force House Republican leaders to take it up within two legislative days.
Rep. Jordan spoke highly of Issa’s bill during his Fox News interview, however, his office did not return a request for comment.

Trump should go ahead and deport them. Do like the Biden administration did and move them in the middle of the night. Tell those district judges "I'll continue deporting them until the SCOTUS tells me no. Until then, it's business as usual and look forward to watching you cry".
