MANASSAS, VA - An illegal immigrant from El Salvador was arrested by ICE Washington, D.C. and has been charged with four counts of aggravated sexual battery and driving while intoxicated in Virginia.

The alleged suspect, Luis Alfonso Garcia-Jimenez, was arrested on September 2, according to a press release from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Garcia-Jimenez illegally entered the United States on an unknown date, at an unknown location, and without being inspected, admitted, or paroled by a U.S. Immigration official.

Manassas police arrested Garcia-Jimenez on December 24, 2016, and charged him with DWI. The Prince William General District Court convicted Garcia-Jimenez of DWI on March 20, 2017, and sentenced him to 30 days in prison. He also had to pay a fine.

The Prince William County Sheriff's Office arrested Garcia-Jimenez again on March 6, 2026, and charged him with four counts of felony aggravated sexual battery. Upon his apprehension, ICE officers entered Garcia-Jimenez into removal proceedings. He will receive due process and remain in ICE custody pending the outcome of those proceedings.

"Luis Alfonso Garcia-Jimenez is a suspected sexual predator who poses a significant threat to the members of our Northern Virginia communities,” said ICE Washington, D.C. Field Office Director Robert Guadian. “Garcia-Jimenez has been charged with four counts of aggravated sexual battery in addition to convictions for DWI and public order crimes. The officers of ICE Washington, D.C. cannot allow someone like that to roam our streets. Arresting and removing criminal alien offenders like this is exactly what prioritizing public safety looks like."

According to the press release, "Sanctuary cities are no longer a safe haven for the worst of the worst, such as child predators and sex offenders," under President Trump and Secretary Mullin's leadership.
