BUFFALO, NY - A weeklong operation conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in mid-September resulted in 35 illegal aliens apprehended in the Buffalo area, with some of the apprehended individuals having prior arrests and convictions for charges ranging from DUI to robbery.
In a September 25th press release from ICE, the agency detailed some of the notable apprehensions achieved during a weeklong operation in Buffalo that occurred between September 14th to the 19th. In accordance with the Trump administration's ongoing efforts to get the “worst of the worst” into custody and removed from the United States, ICE highlighted four criminal illegal aliens who were apprehended during the immigration enforcement operation in Buffalo.
The notable illegal aliens taken into custody, and their respective criminal histories, are as follows:
ICE Buffalo Enforcement and Removal Operations acting Field Office Director Joseph Freden issued a statement in light of the completed operation out of central New York, emphasizing that despite the increased risks faced by ICE agents in the field, the agency will continue “fulfilling their Congressionally mandated mission.”
“Despite a historic increase in assaults against ICE law enforcement by violent lunatics, our brave officers remain dedicated to fulfilling their Congressionally mandated mission to enhance public safety by removing criminal illegal aliens from our communities in Western, Central and Upstate New York,” Director Freden stated, adding, “Under President Trump’s leadership, we are once again a nation of laws.”
