SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA- The Biden death toll rose by three this week after a criminal illegal alien operating a tractor-trailer plowed into cars stopped on a California freeway. Jashanpreet Singh was arrested by local police in San Bernardino and charged with vehicular manslaughter. At the same time, intoxicated and driving under the influence, a news release from Immigration and Customs Enforcement said.
According to the release, Singh entered the United States through the southern border in 2022 and was released into the country under the Biden administration’s porous immigration “policies.”
“Loopholes that allow illegal aliens to operate deadly commercial vehicles on the streets of the United States must be closed immediately,” said Los Angeles Enforcement and Removal Operations Acting Field Office Director Andre Quinones. “Tragedies like this are 100% preventable, and we will ensure that those who break our laws and endanger lives are held accountable. Criminals like Jashanpreet Singh will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and removed from our country to protect the safety of the American people.”
Fox News Digital reports that Singh was operating the eighteen-wheeler when he encountered slow-moving traffic. Dash cam video from inside the cab of the tractor-trailer showed Singh striking a line of traffic without slowing down. Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash. In addition to the three fatalities, numerous people were injured.
Toxicology tests confirmed that Singh was under the influence.
“Americans are still living with the consequences of Joe Biden’s open border–because of his disastrous immigration policies, three more innocent people are dead,” White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital.
“After closing Biden’s open border in record time, President Trump is working day and night to deport dangerous criminal illegal aliens and protect American citizens. This tragedy was totally preventable and would have never happened without Biden’s malfeasance.”

The carnage on I-10 in California was the latest in a series of fatal motor vehicle crashes involving illegal aliens operating tractor-trailers. In August, Harjinder Singh, who crossed the border illegally in 2018, attempted to make a U-turn on a highway in Fort Pierce, Florida. A minivan in the passing lane crashed into Singh’s vehicle, killing all three occupants.
According to the officers investigating the crash, Singh had failed the English and road sign tests.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy addressed the issue of foreign truck drivers unable to meet English language requirements on October 15.
“I put states on notice this summer: enforce the Trump administration’s English language requirements or the checks stop coming,” Duffy said. “California is the only state in the nation that refuses to ensure big rig drivers can read our road signs and communicate with law enforcement. This is a fundamental safety issue that impacts you and your family on America’s roads.”
On Oct. 21, the Department of Homeland Security issued a release announcing a detainer had been lodged with the Porter County Jail in Indiana for yet another truck driver who was arrested for reckless homicide and criminal recklessness. Borko Stankovic, an illegal from Serbia, was operating a semi-truck without a valid commercial license when he swerved into oncoming traffic and hit a Subaru Crosstrek, killing the driver, Jeffrey Eberly, instantly.
Stankovic had previously been arrested by the Nassau County Police Department in Long Island, New York, and charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.
"This senseless tragedy should NEVER have happened, and this man should still be alive today,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “Stankovic has been in this country ILLEGALLY since 2011, and has a history of violating the law, yet he remained free to continue engaging in dangerous behavior that ultimately resulted in the death of Jeffrey Eberly. Illegal aliens have no business operating 18-wheelers or semi-trucks on America’s highways. President Trump and Secretary Noem are making America’s roads safe again.”
This week, yet another viral video showed a driver inside a tractor-trailer approaching a toll plaza near the Ohio-Indiana border as a tractor-trailer coming in the opposite direction approached him in the wrong lane, The Hill reported. The hero truck driver pulled to the left to cut off the wrong-way trucker.
“You have got to be f*cking kidding me. I mean, what the f*ck–are–who? What?” the driver said to himself as the wrong-way driver approached.
As he pulled himself alongside, he asked the driver, “What are you doing?” The other driver responded in unintelligible broken English.
“Let me ask you a question, man. You are going the wrong way down the freeway. You are committing a felony right now,” the first trucker said.
“Ok. What [am] I doing, sir?” the foreigner asked.
“Well, one, why the f*ck are you going the wrong way down the freeway?”
After the other driver said he planned to turn around, the first driver said, "Un-f*cking real!”
Duffy shared the video on X.
“My team has reached out to the trucker who recorded this chilling video,” Duffy wrote. “He did the right thing reporting the trucker driving the wrong way to the police. This easily could have ended in disaster,” Duffy continued.

What needs o happen is to have the laws that protect elected officials from charged as accomplices in cases like this.
