Indiana: Surveillance Footage Captures 75-Year-Old Woman Attacking Tim Hortons Employee Before Collapsing and Dying

FORT WAYNE, IN - Disturbing video shows a fight break out in an Indiana donut shop shortly before an elderly woman's untimely death.

Authorities in Fort Wayne have released surveillance footage showing a confrontation between a 75-year-old woman and a Tim Hortons employee shortly before the woman collapsed and later died. Authorities said Anita Ann Grayson entered the restaurant to complain about an issue with her drive-thru order and began arguing with a teenage employee, according to Local12.

Police said a 20-year-old shift lead intervened and told Grayson to leave the business. The encounter escalated into a physical fight inside the restaurant. After the physical altercation, Grayson sat at a table while talking on the phone before lying down on the floor, police said.

A responding officer later found Grayson unresponsive. Emergency responders performed life-saving measures at the scene before transporting her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police said the investigation remains ongoing.

The Allen County Coroner's Office has not yet determined Grayson's official cause and manner of death. Authorities have not announced whether they will be filing any charges. Police released the video footage as part of the ongoing investigation and warned that viewers could find it disturbing.
