Louisiana AG sues Sec. Mayorkas for housing Chinese illegal immigrant infected with 'rare, aggressive, and drug-resistant form of tuberculosis'

BATON ROUGE, LA - In the state of Louisiana, Governor Jeff Landry and Attorney General Liz Murrill are bringing suit against the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas after an illegal immigrant woman from China infected with a "rare, aggressive, and drug-resistant form of tuberculosis" was transported into the state by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The woman was in contact with as many as 200 detainees and an unknown number of employees, according to reports.

In a press release issued Wednesday, Murrill's office wrote, "Following the illegal entry into the United States by a Chinese national, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) transported this individual (Patient 0) throughout facilities in Louisiana. Patient 0, who has a rare, aggressive, and drug-resistant form of tuberculosis, which carries high mortality rates, came into contact with hundreds of detainees and numerous non-detainees. The State of Louisiana, through Attorney General Liz Murrill, Governor Jeff Landry, Surgeon General Ralph Abraham, and Department of Health, took immediate action."

Murrill released an account of the actions taken by the state government and the stunning responses of Mayorkas' DHS. The state authorities reportedly became aware of this situation on October 9th, over a five day period Murill and Abraham worked with state officials to create an action plan. They then reached out to DHS.

"
On October 15, the Attorney General and the AG’s Solicitor General hosted a call with ICE officials and demanded that ICE commit to not releasing any potentially infected detainees without medical clearance by the Department of Health. ICE refused."

An emergency lawsuit was drafted the next day. On Oct. 17th a District Court judge issued a temporary restraining order to prevent potentially infected illegal immigrants from being released without state medical clearance.

Murrill said in statement,
“The protection of our southern border is paramount to the security of the United States. It is neither political nor unreasonable that Louisiana has time and time again demanded that the Biden-Harris administration defend this nation. Those not legally present should not be in the country – period.

"Millions of undocumented illegal aliens continue to pour across the southern border – unidentified, untracked, and untested for diseases that can threaten the lives of American citizens. The federal government has put the health and safety of Louisiana and American people at risk. Despite this dereliction of duty by President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Secretary Mayorkas, Louisiana officials acted immediately to protect our people.”

Cindy

Where is this woman now? Mayorkas needs to invite her to be his house guest. How are Chinese illegals able to come here in the first placce? Probably to become a spy; how else would she be allowed to leave China?

L

Mayorkas should be in prison for the rest of his life for what he has done to this country.
