Sunday evening saw three separate incidents involving large numbers of juveniles across two states that resulted in injuries and arrests.

Around 4:00 pm on Sunday, police with the Torrance Police Department (in Los Angeles County, California) and surrounding agencies were called to the Del Amo Fashion Center in the 3500 block of Carson Street to investigate what was described as a "large group of juveniles who are fighting amongst themselves."

A witness told police that at least one gunshot rang out during the fights. However, no injuries were reported at the time of this writing. Video footage from the incident shows dozens of juveniles punching and kicking each other, and blood can be seen on the ground.

City News Service reported that officers from the neighboring Gardena, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach and Los Angeles police departments and Los Angeles County sheriff's office responded to assist in getting the large crowd under control.

The cause of the fight is not known at this time.

Another incident occurred in California, this time in the Bay Area's Emeryville. During that incident, approximately 300 juveniles broke out into a fight near a movie theater.

It started around 4:30 pm as a disturbance of 50 kids inside the Bay Street Mall, and police escorted them out at that time. About 45 minutes later, that group had turned into 100, and the rest just kept arriving. Reportedly, the young brawlers came to the area for a "link up," or a meet up, that was posted on social media.

At about 5:40 pm, several small fights from within the hundreds of teens broke out. Multiple agencies responded to assist here, as well.

Shortly after those fights started, one person shot a firearm one time but police say it did not hit anyone.

One juvenile was arrested, and another was stabbed with non-life-threatening injuries. It's unclear at this time what the motive was for the fight and whether the person arrested was the same person who stabbed the injured child.

Up in Washington State, an incident with a large number of juveniles broke out at the Southcenter Mall in Tukwilla, just south of Seattle. The fight reportedly began in the food court before spilling out into other areas of the mall.

The mall was evacuated during that incident and police said initial reports of gunshots fired were inaccurate. However, one male juvenile leaving the scene was found to be in possession of a firearm.

Several outside agencies responded to assist with this incident as well due to the large number of mall patrons at the time.
