Trenton, NJ: The race for the next New Jersey governor continues to heat up. And if you're a New Jersey law enforcement officer or a family member of one, this race is especially important.
New Jersey cops have traditionally voted for Democrat governor candidates as they have been historically pro-union.
But these recent years have been very, very different.
Since the summer of 2020, the liberal community has demonized and villianized the entire law enforcement profession in the months and years following the George Floyd incident. They let the actions of one officer symbolize and represent an entire profession.
Countless celebrities, professional athletes, liberal politicians and, worse yet, mainstream media followed suit.
They ALL went so far as to demand calls to "defund the police". And the liberal mainstream media painted countless legitimate police use-of-force incidents by taking body cam footage out of context to "prove" excessive force to further enrage the public, ultimately affecting political trends.
And that's where New Jersey ended up.
The current political climate in New Jersey remains anti-police, but that can all change with a simple changing of the guard in the governorship.
The NJ Office of the Attorney General (OAG)
New Jersey ranks as one of the most progressive states in America, up there with California, a disturbing comparison.
And the OAG is no exception.
The current AG, Matthew Platkin, is an outspoken liberal political advocate. His office routinely makes politically charged public statements, such as defending Leticia James against her recent criminal charge of fraud and denouncing the deployment of the National Guard to major cities, among others.

The OAG is still under the spell of the woke agenda and has pulled out all the stops to go after good officers.
One of the most egregious cases involves a local police officer who was involved in a shooting that, by every account, was a clear, legitimate use of force against a dangerous suspect. But the cop was ultimately charged with a crime!
Officer Salvatore Oldrati, Mantua Township PD
Back in 2021, Ofc Oldrati of the Mantua Township PD was dispatched to a 911 burglary in progress call involving multiple suspects, one armed with a gun.
Ofc Oldrati reported to the scene and was confronted by the suspect with a gun pointed at him. He made a split-second decision to stop the suspect by shooting him.
The suspect was hit, and the officers on scene immediately rendered medical aid, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
The follow-up investigation showed the suspect had bullet marks on his hands, indicating he aimed the gun at the officer.
"Shortly after the shooting, an investigation was completed by the New Jersey State Police Shooting Response Team along with the Attorney General’s Office. Once the investigation was completed, a meeting was held with a liaison from the Attorney General’s Office along with the Mantua Township Police Department. Corporal Oldrati was cleared to return to work and did so just weeks later in October 2021," the Pipehitterfoundation.org wrote.
The Pipe Hitter Foundation (PHF) is a nonprofit organization that defends military and law enforcement personnel in politically motivated cases.
They continued, "Corporal Oldrati was cleared by law enforcement officials following this critical incident; his actions were deemed lawful and justifiable." Read the full PHF story HERE.
Everything went as expected, considering the facts.
But politics reared its ugly head.
"In May of 2023, TWENTY MONTHS after returning to full patrol duty and promoted to Corporal, Salvatore was frivolously indicted and charged with one count of 2nd Degree Reckless Manslaughter by the Attorney General’s Office of Public Integrity and Accountability (OPIA)," PHF wrote.
Since the charge, Ofc Oldrati has been suspended without pay and is awaiting his day in court.

Until then, his life is upside down, he lost his professional identity, legal fees continue to mount, and he and his family must endure the slow, agonizing process, which we can only imagine how much stress that causes them.
If you're an LEO, how many of your use-of-force incidents could have been politicized?
What would your life look like if you were facing criminal charges and your entire world turned upside down?
Jack Ciattarelli is the Answer
The Ofc Oldrati story began in the post-Floyd era during the dark ages of law enforcement, 2021.
Even though the anti-police rhetoric is starting to fade, the same NJ Attorney General, Matthew Platkin, is still in charge.
If NJ stays a blue state and Sherill is elected governor, will anything change?
Are you willing to bet your life and career over it?
However, if New Jersey turns red and Jack Ciattarelli is voted in, we KNOW things will change.
"They know, as do all of law enforcement, that I will have their back, my [new] attorney general will have their back, and our 21 county prosecutors will have their back. They're tired of being demonized by democrats," Jack Ciattarelli said in a recent interview.
Jack understands that the rule of law is paramount to a thriving society. The woke agenda has too many people believing the criminals are the victims.
"They're tired of this unbelievable rationale that we show more sympathy for the criminal than we do for the victim. We've got to get back to being a law-and-order state. We've got to get back to respecting law enforcement, particularly at the local level. All that will happen when I win the governorship," Jack added.
If you're a NJ cop or a family member of one, or simply a supporter, you must vote for Jack Ciattarelli.
About Opponent Democrat Mikie Sherrill
If you're still not convinced about Jack Ciattarelli, we'll drop some facts about his democrat opponent, Mikey Sherrill, a NJ congresswoman, a Virginia native, and former Navy veteran, who's background is loaded with controversy. We'll let the facts speak for themselves:
- earned millions of dollars in stock trading as a congresswoman with defense companies while on the armed forces committee. Read about that HERE.
- was fined for violating the STOCK Act for not complying with trade disclosure. Read more HERE.
- she thinks pork roll is "disgusting", which tells you she's not a true Jerseyan (pork roll is a NJ thing). Read about that HERE.
- famously said that converting to electric power "will cost you an arm and a leg, but if you're a good person you'll do it." Read about that HERE.
- was involved in a scandal during the Naval Academy that prevented her from participating in the graduation ceremony. Read about that HERE.
- her current husband was also involved in the same scandal. Read about that HERE.
- despite the scandal, both her children were accepted into the naval academy (political influence?). Read about that HERE.
- accepted more than $25,000 in campaign donations from Big Pharma. Read more HERE.
The choice is clear.
As an LEO, you are only one call away from your life being flipped upside down by a pro-criminal, politically motivated attorney general whose goal is to go after good cops.
To them, they have nothing to lose and no repercussions (except wasting taxpayer money).
But getting caught in a politically charged criminal case, like Ofc Oldrati, can easily cost you your livelihood, your family, and everything you worked hard to fight for, and will change your life forever.
But you can change that with a simple vote for Jack Ciattarelli!
