North Carolina Child Killed by Repeat Deported Illegal Alien in Horrific Crash

PITT COUNTY, NC - Chalk up another unnecessary death of a child at the hands of the Democrat Party’s open borders campaign, thankfully brought to a screeching halt by President Donald Trump.

The latest unnecessary death occurred in North Carolina where Calli Toler, age 6, was pronounced dead at the scene after an illegal alien from Mexico failed to stop at a stop sign and slammed into a car carrying Calli, her mother Kelli, and her four-year-old brother Colton.

Jaime Santiago Corona was operating a Ram pickup truck with a revoked license when the crash occurred, according to the North Carolina State Patrol. Corona has been deported multiple times, yet still found himself in the country, The New York Post reported, citing a Fox News Digital report.

Kelli Toler and Colton were transported to ECU Health in Greenville with serious injuries, authorities said.

An online GoFundMe fundraiser has thus far raised just over $42,000 out of a $50,000 goal to cover funeral expenses, lost income, and medical bills. The fundraiser stated that the three were on their way to get lunch before going to a swimming pool when the horrific crash happened.

“This monster caused a car crash that killed a 6-year-old girl and injured a mother and a 4-year-old,” said Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.

“This tragedy was 100% preventable. Our prayers are with Calli Toler and her family.

Corona has been charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle, failure to stop for a stop sign, careless and reckless driving, and driving while a license is revoked.

Yes, he was charged with a misdemeanor for killing a six-year-old girl and badly injuring her mother and brother.

DHS said that Corona illegally reentered the United States three times, a felony.

Corona also has a history of driving under the influence. An immigration detainer has been placed on him by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News Digital that it will cooperate with ICE.
