PHILADELPHIA, PA - It must be tough being the former first lady to one of the worst presidents in American history: sleepy Joe Biden. Generally speaking, Jill Biden was disliked as First Lady. Many believed she was among those who had her proverbial hand up Joe Biden’s rear end, controlling him like a puppet performing on a children’s stage.

She was also among those who encouraged her husband to vie for a second presidency despite his clearly and severely declining physical and mental health. She was part of the crew who propped her fragile husband up to the podium and told him to “just read what’s on the screen and get off the stage”.

Many felt she, too, was insufferable.

But was her intolerable nature the reason a Secret Service agent shot himself in the foot? Did he want to get off her detail that badly?

Of course not. We don’t believe he did that on purpose.

But unfortunately, he negligently discharged his weapon while on the Jill Biden security detail at the Philadelphia International Airport on Friday.

The negligent discharge, which occurred while the agent was handling the weapon, led to a non-life-threatening injury, and the agent is still recovering in stable condition.

“The Secret Service’s Office of Professional Responsibility will be reviewing the facts and circumstances of this incident. We are grateful for our law enforcement and public safety partners who provided medical assistance,” a Secret Service spokesperson said.

The Biden Administration’s Controversial History

Although we believe Secret Service agents are among the most highly trained professionals in the law enforcement community, there must be “something in the water” when it comes to being on the Biden detail.

“This is not the first controversy for Secret Service agents associated with the Bidens. In 2023, a Naomi Biden’s Secret Service officer fired a weapon during an attempted carjacking. Naomi is former President Biden's granddaughter. She was out in Washington’s Georgetown neighborhood late on a Sunday night when three people tried breaking into an SUV,” Fox News’ Chief Correspondent Michael Emanuel told Fox News' Jesse Watters.

But wait, there’s more.

In 2024, a Secret Service agent on then-VP Kamala Harris’ detail was removed from her assignment after showing signs of “distressing behavior” during a campaign stop in Wisconsin.

“The agent showed up at the terminal and began acting erratically, grabbing another senior agent's personal phone and deleting his apps. Once the commanding officer got his phone back, she reportedly started mumbling to herself, throwing feminine hygiene products at a colleague. The agent told her peers they were ‘going to burn in hell.’ The commanding agent relieved her from the assignment. Then she chest-bumped and tackled him before punching him, all while her gun was on her,” Emanuel said.

Former presidents are entitled to Secret Service protection under law. But is protecting the Bidens too risky for an agent? Should the detail be removed for national security’s sake?

Who knows.

We wish them luck!
