Protecting People and Preserving Freedom with See It Send It

The 7th annual Rod of Iron Freedom Festival, a major Second Amendment celebration held October 11–12, 2025, at the World Peace and Unification Sanctuary Event Center in Newfoundland, Pennsylvania, welcomed attendees for two days of nationally known speakers, live music, food, and firearms training seminars.

Featured speakers included General Michael Flynn, bestselling author Gordon Chang, Scott Presler (Founder of Early Vote Action), and many other notable conservative leaders.

This year’s event took extra precautions following heightened national security concerns, including the recent assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. Organizers brought in additional law enforcement and private security and, for the first time, integrated the See It Send It public safety app to improve real-time communication.

Annastasia Theodoropoulos, director of VIP hospitality and public relations for the festival, said that planners realized, despite their strong law enforcement presence, that communication had been an issue in past years.

“What happens within departments when everything is happening at lightning speed? When you see someone or something suspicious, how do you ensure safety?” Theodoropoulos said.

After meeting with See It Send It founder Dan Kerning, the festival committee and their security team decided to include the technology. The app enabled staff, volunteers, and police to instantly share photos, videos, and geolocation data with security teams.

Approximately 30 event staff members and several law enforcement officers used the app throughout the weekend. Theodoropoulos said the tool added a level of coordination that traditional radio systems or calls could not provide.

“The reality is that we live in strange times,” Theodoropoulos said. “The See It Send It app delivers on what it promises—which is real-time communication at any huge event that requires safety. When your name’s on the line, you want to deliver safety for your event. I would highly recommend this to any entity looking to host a safe event without any consequences.”

The app is designed for community policing and event security, allowing users to submit suspicious activity reports directly to law enforcement and private security in seconds. It is built for non-technical users and requires minimal training, providing an additional layer of defense for the festival’s team of volunteers and first responders.

The Rod of Iron Freedom Festival billed itself as “the best free freedom festival in America,” featuring constitutional speakers, youth activities, and training that promoted self-reliance, community preparedness, and Second Amendment rights. Organizers stated that safety will remain a top priority as the event continues to grow annually.

The festival’s history notes that the Rod of Iron Freedom Festival was inspired by Rod of Iron Ministries. It started as a non-denominational event to celebrate the Second Amendment, which sets the American experiment in self-governance apart from many other nations, recognizing the God-given right to self-defense.
