Pay attention to what is happening in Spain. Because if Democrats retake control of Congress this November and the White House in 2028, this could be a preview of coming attractions in our country. It would make the Biden-facilitated invasion of our country pale in comparison.
Spain, along with several other European countries, has veered hard left in recent years, with some becoming full-blown socialist. During the founding of our country, Founding Father Benjamin Franklin famously told a woman named Elizabeth Willing Powell after the conclusion of the Constitutional Convention that the U.S. had “A republic, if you can keep it.”
Franklin’s words seem prophetic now that we’ve seen a Marxist takeover in New York City, Seattle, and in House and Senate races nationwide, where centrist Democrats have been shown the door by so-called “Democratic Socialists,” which, truth be told, are full-blown Marxists and/or Communists. Any time a movement has the word “Democratic” put in the title as a modifier, accept the fact that they are full-blown commies.
As seen in the United States under Biden, what happened in Spain this past week was facilitated in large part by Spain’s judicial system, where that country’s Supreme Court ruled earlier in July that illegals intercepted at sea while trying to reach Spanish enclaves on the North African coast could not be immediately deported, The New York Post reported.
The result of that decision cannot be called anything other than what it was–a mass invasion by an estimated 60,000 overwhelmingly male, military-aged Moroccan males into the Spanish-controlled enclave of Ceuta, forcing Spain to deploy its military. Local residents terrorized by the invasion likened it to an “apocalypse.”
The Post cited local media reports reporting that residents and businesses of the enclave are afraid to open doors or go outside after the mass invasion, with many of those wearing nothing but swimwear and “without a penny or possession to their name.”
“Businesses closed. Shops shut because if you open a business, it gets overrun…We’re scared. The streets are packed. There are no measures in place. It’s every man for himself. They’re not giving us any help,” said a downtown restaurant owner to Spanish outlet RTVE.
According to Ceuta’s president, some 60,000 individuals had crossed into the enclave by sea and land over only 24 hours, which he said is about 70% of Ceuta’s population of 85,000.
As with most of the estimated 12-15 million illegals allowed to enter the US under Biden’s porous border policies, official data showed that about 25% of Moroccans between the ages of 15 and 24 are not in school, employment, or training.
And, just as has happened under Biden, human smugglers are being blamed for the mass invasion, according to Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, who visited Ceuta Friday.
“It appears that this interpretation of the Supreme Court’s ruling spread like wildfire over the past few hours through the networks of human trafficking organizations, triggering the kind of mass surge we witnessed yesterday,” Sanchez said at a Friday news conference.
The Spanish government has nobody to blame but itself. Led by socialist nutjobs, Spain’s government thought it was to give legal status to half a million illegal aliens in that country. What did they expect? The government deployed a meager force of 200 specialized police officers and 60 troops to stem the invasion that outnumbered them 230/1. They were useless against the throng of primarily military-age men.
Just as in the US, these invaders have no intentions of assimilating. The invaders were seen sleeping in the streets, washing themselves in public fountains, and defecating on the side of buildings.
That brings us to the subject of the Democratic Socialists of America, which has virtually taken over the Democratic Party.
Having elevated Zohran Mamdani to the mayor’s office in the most important city in the U.S., New York, the DSA has set its site on other races across the country, including a Senate seat in Michigan, the governor’s office in Minnesota, and House seats across the country.
Polls have shown that socialism, once relegated to the septic tank of politics, is gaining more favor, especially among younger people. Because after all, who doesn’t like “free” stuff? The problem is, as addressed eloquently by the late British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, “the problem with socialism is you eventually run out of other people’s money.”
So, what does the DSA stand for? According to their 2019 national convention in Atlanta, their platform is a who’s who of Constitutional Republic-destroying pablum:
Uninhibited transnational free movement of people
Demilitarization of the U.S.-Mexico border
Abolition of ICE and CBP without replacement
Decriminalization of immigration
Full amnesty for asylum seekers
A pathway to citizenship for all non-citizen residents
Support of the “Green New Deal”
In an interview on Fox News Sunday last month, DSA national co-chair Megan Romer admitted to all the above, along with eliminating the Pentagon, completely defunding the police, eliminating prisons, eliminating the presidency and the Senate, along with the Supreme Court, and creating a “super-legislature.”
Some say conservatives need to find a “middle ground” with these people, but how do you even begin to negotiate with a group of nuts who want our border wide open and our country undefended? Who want to abolish prisons? Sorry, there is no “middle ground” to reach with individuals who want to destroy our country.
These DSA people are so crazy that they are even being denounced by Democrats such as Van Jones of CNN and former Chicago mayor and White House Chief of Staff under Barack Obama Rahm Emanuel.
The invasion in Spain has caught the attention of President Trump, who has warned that something such as that would be “small time” compared to what would happen if Democrats regain power, The New York Post reported.
Trump called the Ceuta situation a “catastrophe” and compared the scourge to “an invasion.”
“And the same thing is going to happen to us if the Republicans don’t get elected, except worse. Much bigger, much easier to get into, despite the fact that we have built thousands of miles of wall, which I said we were going to do,” the president told reporters.
“We have the safest border in the world. If we’re not in office, our country will be invaded at levels that made Spain look small time.”
Trump is often accused of being over-dramatic, but here, he is 100% on the right track. While the DSA has made it clear that they want to eliminate ICE and CBP, so-called “mainstream,” albeit far-left Democrats, have made the same promise, including Democrat Sens. Bernie Sanders, Chris Murphy, and Elizabeth Warren, and House Democrat “squad” members Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Numerous Democratic House candidates have also made the same promise. The president blamed “bad management” and “weak, very liberal” laws. If Democrats regain power, the same can be expected here.
“They passed a couple of laws, and people read. You know, people are smart. They read from other countries, and they swam that three-mile swim, or however they got in. But nobody’s seen anything like it. That will look good compared to what’s going to happen to the United States,” Trump said.
“The biggest thing, the worst thing that Biden did is allowing 25 million people into our country, because many of those people are criminals, they’re murderers.”
Lax immigration policies have led to a surge of illegal alien crime in the United States, with scores, if not hundreds, of Americans being killed in car crashes, stabbings, shootings, etc. The same can be expected to happen in Spain and its territories.
The State Department slammed the Spanish government for its lax and failed immigration policies.
“The United States stands with the people of Spain, and all Europeans, against this egregious violation of their sovereignty and human rights,” the department wrote on its official X account Friday.
“This unacceptable incident is the direct result of the Spanish Government’s deliberate efforts to enable and facilitate mass illegal migration into Europe,” they wrote while promising support for foreign allies looking to crack down on illegal immigration.
“We are considering actions to defend Americans at home and abroad from this threat and stand ready to assist other European allies considering similar options.”
We’ve already seen citizens in Ireland, England, and others rise up to protest the open borders policies that have turned their once beautiful countries into, in some places, third-world hell holes.
Pay close attention to what is going on in Europe. Benjamin Franklin’s words are a warning, as are those of President Ronald Reagan, who warned, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
Freedom. Something we take for granted. If we only knew how precious, rare, and vulnerable that freedom is. The people in Europe are finding out. Hopefully the American people will not.
