WASHINGTON, DC- Earlier this week, President Donald Trump gave his State of the Union address, during which he outlined all the accomplishments of his administration over the past thirteen months. For some reason, the Democrats chose Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger to give the “official” Democratic Party response.
The choice of Spanberger was interesting for a myriad of reasons, primarily because the Democrats are trying to push the fairy tale of an “affordability crisis” while Spanberger and Virginia Democrats have promised numerous tax increases, confiscatory gun “control” laws, infanticide, and to cease all cooperation with federal immigration authorities.
Taking advantage of the hanging curveball served up by Democrats, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a statement calling out Spanberger and the Democrats.
“Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, America’s brave DHS law enforcement officers have delivered the most secure border in U.S. history and removed more than 700,000 dangerous illegal aliens from American communities,” said Deputy Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.
“ICE, under President Trump’s leadership, is targeting criminal illegal aliens, including murderers, rapists, pedophiles, gang members, and terrorists. At every step on the way to make America safe again, sanctuary politicians–including Abigail Spanberger–have tried to slow ICE down and chosen to release criminals from their jails into our communities to perpetrate more crimes and create more victims.”
Since being sworn in, Spanberger has taken to reversing multiple polices put in place by former Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin. One of those policies was entering into 287(g) agreements with the federal government, which the radical (she ran as a “moderate) Spanberger promptly terminated, which DHS said would make Virginia less safe.
The press release noted that, “When politicians bar local law enforcement from working with DHS, our law enforcement officers must have a more visible presence to find and apprehend criminals released from jails and into communities.”
One cannot help but believe that these agreements are being terminated purposefully, with Democrats hoping for snapshots and soundbites (and video) showing ICE agents dealing with far-left agitators on the streets, such as we’ve seen in Minneapolis and other blue cities.
While President Trump enjoyed tremendous support for closing the border and sending illegal aliens back home during the campaign, Democrats and their complicit left-wing media have succeeded in focusing on interactions between ICE and the Democrats’ militia, at least two of which have turned deadly.
“Partnerships with law enforcement are critical to expanding the resources law enforcement needs in order to arrest criminal illegal aliens across the U.S. DHS has had tremendous success when local law enforcement works with DHS, including 40,000 arrests in Florida and a recent two-week operation in West Virginia that resulted in the arrest of more than 650 illegal aliens. 7 out of the 10 safest cities in the U.S. cooperate with ICE,” the agency wrote.
“While Governor Spanberger continues to release pedophiles, rapists, gang members and murderers onto Virginia’s streets, ICE law enforcement will continue to risk their lives to arrest these heinous criminals…”
ICE then identified some of the dirtbag illegal aliens that have been recently arrested:
Hyrum Baquedano-Rodriguez, Honduras, convicted of two counts of indecent liberties: expose genitals to child, entering property with intent to damage, and petit larceny.
Jose Chicas-Martinez, El Salvador, convicted of sex object penetration of a child victim less than thirteen, aggravated sexual battery victim less than thirteen, and indecent liberties by guardian.
Ahmer Althaf Shaikh, Pakistan, convicted of murder.
Grant Moctar, Venezuela, 11 felony convictions, including homicide, robbery, burglary, kidnapping, prisoner in possession of a firearm, possession of an unregistered firearm, and aggravated assault.
Henry Josue Villatoro, El Salvador, aka “Samurai,” known MS-13 gang leader and member, federal warrant for racketeering and conspiracy to murder.
Tony Hill, Liberia, convicted of aggravated sexual battery with a child, indecent liberties with child, possessing obscene material with minor, and filming or videotaping an undressed minor.
Denis Pop-Guz, Guatemala, convicted of possessing obscene material of a minor and filming child pornography; has pending charges for rape, abduction of person with intent to defile, possessing obscene material of a minor, and filiming child pornogrpahy.
Milton Garcia, El Salvador, convicted of sodomy by force or threat.
These are the men Spanberger and the Democrats are giving aid and comfort to. And note that most of the above involved sexual assault or abuse of children. Democrats do not care about children, either the unborn or those who are alive. They simply use them as convenient props to push political agendas. But when push comes to shove, they couldn’t care less.
