Speaker Mike Johnson warns that just like the American people know Harris & Walz, so do our adversaries

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson (R-LA) appeared on "Fox & Friends" Monday and offered a stern warning that the American people and our adversaries know what to expect from a Harris presidency. He told host Brian Kilmeade that Harris was fully aware the "entire time" that President Joe Biden has been"checked out" while the nation faced perils at home and abroad.

"Joe Biden has been checked out for a long time, and Kamala Harris knew it the entire time," he said. "She was one of the people, remember, that they bragged about, was the last one to leave the room when major decisions were made, as if Joe Biden was making them," according to Fox News.

"She is responsible. She carries the burden of that, and that's her record…The only person that our adversaries fear less than Joe Biden is Kamala Harris. Imagine her as the commander-in-chief of the U.S. military in these dangerous times. This is the most dangerous time since World War II. We cannot afford to do that. You've got to have Donald Trump in the White House. He's the one they fear and respect."

During the nine-minute interview with Kilmeade, Johnson blasted Biden, Harris, and Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota, Harris' Vice Presidential nominee.

Aiming at Walz in particular for his handling of the 2020 BLM riots Johnson said,
"I went to the site the epicenter where it all began May, June of 2020, where those riots began. And TimWaltz was the governor. He allowed Minnesota to burn he allowed Minneapolis to burn he sat on his hands while that happened and gave sympathy really to the rioters.

"You know when he ran for governor last time in that state in Minnesota they dubbed him 'the Godfather of crime and lawlessness' because what happened in Minnesota and Minneapolis there then spread to other cities as we know around the country. And even around the the globe. The the lawlessness that followed, the chaos that followed was originally... he was the architect of and so the point is here: You have to be very sober-minded when you go into that Ballot Box.

"Safety and Security are number one issues to people around this country. They don't feel safe they don't feel stable right now and if you put Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz in charge your family is not safe your children are not safe when they walk on the streets in the daytime you you have to take that into account."

Kilmeade directed the Speaker's attention to a publicity image pushed to X this weekend showing Harris and Biden allegedly "working" with a generic photo of the two walking in the White House garden.

The Fox & Friends host, among hundreds of commenters on X, was quick to criticize the highly misleading photo, given that while it was posted, Harris was campaigning around the country while Biden was once again ensconced at his family's Rehoboth Beach mansion after vacationing in California.

"They have no shame. You saw that on display at the Democratic National Convention. They're engaging in fantasy over fact," Johnson replied.

"We've got to make sure people understand...You can't make an emotional decision here. You have got to make a decision based on their record and not their rhetoric. They're saying things that are patently untrue. They're gaslighting the American people, and they expect that, I guess, that the people are not intelligent enough to figure this out."

He added, "I've been to 191 cities and 38 states in the last eight months. It doesn't matter where I am. North, south, east, west. People get it. They're fed up. And I think they're going to make the right decision when they go into the election booth."
