WASHINGTON, DC - At one time, Democrats claimed to be the party of “protecting children” and “affirming families.” That clearly no longer appears to be the case.
According to The Federalist, the Biden administration appears to be laying the groundwork to destroy families for the purposes of, in some cases, sterilizing and sexually mutilating them.
Under new proposed rules for foster care, any parent that rejects the radical alphabet mob ideology would be ostensibly ruled a child molester. Unfortunately, this has managed to slip under the radar, and the deadline for public comment on the proposed new rules was November 27, the Monday after Thanksgiving.
The proposed regulations mandate that “to be considered a safe and appropriate placement, a provider is expected to utilize the child’s identified pronouns, chosen name, and allow the child to dress in an age-appropriate manner that the child believes reflects their self-identified gender identity and expression.”
In other words, anyone who believes in science and biology and not the radical LGBT ideology that says a child can be born with the wrong body parts is now deemed unfit to serve as foster parents, according to the unhinged Biden administration.
Of course, as we have seen over the past 34 months, the radical Marxists in the Biden administration won’t stop there. As the piece in The Federalist points out, rooting out Christians and anyone else who believes boys are boys and girls are girls from the foster care system is but the beginning.
Once they have defined anyone who doesn’t believe in their far-left gender identity nonsense as an unfit parent, it’s only a matter of time before they go after biological parents. As the article notes, “Once they’ve set this point, they’ll expand it to everyone else–after all, if it’s abuse for foster parents, it’s abuse for biological parents as well.”
This is nothing new, of course. The most radical of leftist Democrats have long suggested taking children away from so-called “non-affirming” parents but were rightly identified as wackos by even the Democrats in Congress. However, over the past three or so years, we’ve seen how far removed from reality the political left has become.
The Biden administration has been filled with folks who, up until a few years ago, would have found themselves locked up in an institution. Now, they are promoted to “admiral” in Biden's world.
Democrats rely on what The Federalist calls “junk science” in justifying these new rules, created by activist organizations whose very existence depends on validating their claim that children can decide to be whatever they want to be. The Biden administration routinely cites a survey by the far-left “Trevor Project,” which uses carefully selected examples to push their viewpoint.
Up until about five minutes ago, the number of children who identified as LGBT or trans was statistically minuscule. Now, due to leftist teachers and social media, identifying as LGBT or trans is “cool.” The study, conducted to reach a pre-determined outcome, is used for the pro-LGBT mob to push their ideology.
Only recently did they become emboldened enough to target children, previously considered taboo. Now, with the full force of the federal government behind them, it’s no longer about “love is love.” Now, it’s about pushing their ideology on our most vulnerable, our children.
The alphabet mob has long pushed the idea that children are “born” LGBT, and the current push to remove children from parents who love their children and want what’s best for them is a predictable result of what happens when the radical left starts forming policy. Parents who fight against the radical loons who teach in our schools, colleges, and universities are criminalized and demonized.
Why else would teachers and school officials lie about the content available in their school libraries? Straight pornography is explicitly banned from these libraries, but gay porn is not only available but pushed. Why do children as young as five years old need to be sexualized at all, let alone in LGBT ideology?
Why do our schools and lawmakers allow schools to encourage children to transition and identify in whatever way they want without parental notification? There is something truly evil about doing so.
We’ve heard the less-offensive term “gender-affirming care” bandied about, yet what it truly is is the mutilation of children’s bodies utilizing “treatments” that are not only medically unnecessary but medically (and psychologically) harmful.
Unbelievably, the rules proposed by the Biden administration admit there is “no objective physical or psychological diagnosis for being transgender,” The Federalist wrote.
“Rather, it is a purely subjective, self-diagnosed identity–a ‘self-identified gender identity and expression.’ And there is never any medical need to transition.”
The radical LGBT movement claims that those who don’t medically transition are “suicidal,” which is why they have been pushing that narrative. Nearly everyone, from Democratic lawmakers to the medical community to our educational sector, has been pursuing the narrative that children must physically transition or they will commit suicide.
However, as The Federalist noted, studies have shown that people can overcome such suicidal tendencies emanating from gender confusion through counseling and given adequate time. However, none of that matters to the Biden administration. One of the reasons given for the proposed rules is so-called “self-harm.”
The Federalist likens the administration’s proposed rule as “hostage-taking, done to enable the sterilization and sexual mutilation of children on the superstition that they are being born into the wrong bodies.”
Make no mistake about it…going after foster parents is only the beginning. Once the radicals have defined failing to submit children to the medical malpractice of “gender-affirming” surgery as child abuse, it’s only a matter of time before they come after you.
