LOVELAND, CO - What is it with violence and the trans community? Yet another man who dresses up as a woman stands accused of attempting to carry out a series of terror bombings on Tesla properties, ABC News reports.
Justin Thomas Nelson, 42, who goes by the name of Lucy Grace Nelson, has been tied into the so-called “Trantifa” group of radicals who have engaged in violence nationwide. A border patrol agent in Vermont was killed by a member or members tied to the group last month.
Nelson was arrested Monday after Loveland police launched an “extensive investigation” on Jan. 29 after a series of firebombing attacks at a Tesla dealership in the city, an agency statement read.
“On Monday evening, Nelson returned to Loveland Tesla while in possession of additional incendiary devices, along with materials attributed to vandalism,” the Loveland PD said. “Detectives apprehended Nelson prior to further damage occurring.”
Nelson was booked into the Larimer County Jail after being charged with explosives or incendiary devices use during a felony, criminal mischief, and criminal attempt to commit a Class 3 felony,” police said.
He was held on a $100,000 cash/surety bond.
“The Loveland Police Department continues to work closely with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives Denver Field Division, with federal charges likely to follow,” police continued.
A press release announced that those federal charges followed on Thursday when the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado announced that Nelson was charged with one count of malicious destruction of property in connection with the incidents at the Tesla dealership.
The incidents occurred starting on Jan. 29, when a “Molotov cocktail” was discovered next to a Cybertruck at the dealership after authorities received a report of a fire near the vehicle. On Feb. 2, Loveland Police responded to the dealership for a vandalism complaint, where someone used black spray paint to write the word “NAZI.”
On Feb. 7, police were called back to the dealership for reported vandalism (graffiti) and possible arson. Investigators found multiple broken bottles consistent with Molotov cocktails. On Feb. 11, a security guard at the dealership confronted someone who was painting graffiti containing an expletive on the front windows of the building. Finally, on Feb. 24, police confronted Nelson at the dealership. Inside his vehicle, police found a container of gasoline, a box of bottles, and wick material similar to items recovered in the previous incidents.
According to journalist Andy Ngo, the far left has intensified calls for domestic terrorist attacks on Tesla property as a means of revenge against Trump adviser and DOGE head Elon Musk, as well as on the president.
Ngo said that Nelson, in online posts, attempted to “groom children into transitioning and encouraged them to lie to their families.”
