WASHINGTON, DC- For anyone other than the most partisan Democrat, the conduct of DC District Court Judge James Boasberg has appeared to be an attempt to undermine President Trump’s agenda, none more than his blocking of the administration’s attempts to deport violent gang members who have been declared foreign terrorists.
Now, investigative journalist Julie Kelly has uncovered bombshell evidence in a transcript from an April 3 hearing in Boasberg’s courtroom that appears to show what a corrupt political hack Boasberg truly is, The Gateway Pundit reports.
The hearing, conducted for Boasberg to decide if the administration has authority under the Alien Enemies Act to deport violent illegal aliens (it does), had an underlying goal of determining if the radical leftist judge could hold members of the administration in contempt of court for allegedly defying his order.
Boasberg, appointed by Obama (big surprise) issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) in March over Trump’s invocation of the Alien Enemies Act in which he called the executive order “incredibly troublesome and problematic,” and in which he issued an order for the administration to “turn the planes [carrying the enemy combatants] around.” The administration said the aircraft were outside US airspace and therefore outside of US jurisdiction, and the flights continued to El Salvador, where the enemy gang members were locked up in a high-security prison.
Last week, Boasberg extended the block, claiming the plaintiffs suing the administration needed more time to file motions and prepare arguments.
According to Kelly, she alleged in March that Boasberg was indeed trying to set a contempt trap for Trump administration officials. Now, she has obtained proof that Boasberg acted to get himself assigned to the deportation case to fulfill his goal to prosecute administration officials.
“I have just received the (purchased) transcript from Thursday’s hearing before Judge Boasberg,” Kelly wrote on X. “Lots of good stuff, especially as I develop a fuller timeline of what went down behind the scenes on March 15.”
Kelly then called attention to something:
“This really caught my eye,” she wrote. “Remember the whole 'THESE CASES ARE RANDOMLY ASSIGNED' bit by Boasberg and others?”
“No one really believes this…right?” Kelly added. “Also, during the start of the 5 p.m. Zoom hearing on March 15, Boasberg apologized for his casual dress, saying he had gone ‘away’ for the weekend and did not bring a tie or his robe.”
“He knew this case was coming. He wanted this case,” Kelly wrote. “He wanted to stop the deportations and most importantly, he wanted to set a contempt trap for the Trump administration.”
In the court hearing, Boasberg admitted in open court that the plaintiffs filed the motion on March 15 at 1:12 a.m., and that he was available at 7:30 on Saturday morning, noting that was “the only reason why they [plaintiffs] were able to get relief that morning before those people were put on the plane, right?”
Boasberg admitted that “the courts weren’t open” and that “I was available.” No mention was made that he was “randomly assigned” the case, but rather that he “was available” to hear the case before the deportation flights occurred.
In other words, Boasberg was trying to purposefully interfere with President Trump’s Article II Constitutional authority to deal with enemy combatants and a prior Supreme Court decision that ruled the courts have “no role” in Alien Enemies Act enforcement.
“This is not judicial restraint or a careful balance of powers,” Kelly wrote. “This is Boasberg giving away the notion that the executive branch should WAIT FOR APPROVAL from the judicial branch before taking action on matters clearly under the purview of the presidency, including foreign policy and diplomacy.
‘Boasberg knew throughout the day that ICE was rounding up TdA [Tren de Aragua] gang bangers covered by the proclamation,” Kelly added. “So he rushed not only to convert the initial lawsuit into a class but entered a second temporary restraining order prohibiting their removal and absurdly demanding the return of planes carrying the illegals.”
There was also an exchange between Boasberg and one of DOJ’s attorneys, with Boasberg demanding answers from the attorney regarding who from the Trump administration was listening to his 5 p.m. hearing, which Kelly said was “way out of line.”
The claim that judges are “randomly” assigned cases does not comport with what has been going on with Boasberg and Trump. The Gateway Pundit previously reported that he has been assigned to FOUR cases involving the Trump administration. So much for random.
According to The Gateway Pundit, “federal district courts usually assign cases to judges through a random selection process to ensure impartiality and prevent ‘judge shopping’ where litigants might attempt to have their cases heard by a particular judge perceived as favorable.”
Boasberg gets FOUR cases involving the Trump administration in such a short period, and we are supposed to believe this was RANDOM?” The Federal Bar Association says the practice of random selection is supposed to “uphold the integrity and fairness of the judicial system.”
That doesn’t appear to be the case in the deportation case, since Boasberg all but admitted scheming to get the case and interfere in the deportations of violent criminal illegal aliens. Is it beyond expectations that he could have inserted himself in the other three cases as well?

So is there any recourse to his assignment, if in fact it is not random? The problem with activist judges is that there has been no accountability to them going beyond their appropriate roles. Actually, the same is true for many others (Leftist rioters, even Congressional members) needing to stay in their lanes.

Are people starting to realize what an ant-democracy muslim Obama really is? This criminal did everything he possibly could to undermine our justice system! Do you ever wonder why we never hear of any investigative reporters following Obama, Clinton or Biden around these days?! They are afraid of getting killed! Welcome to America the new 3rd world country!

Sounds like grounds for removal from the bench. Made sure it was his case despite the process supposing to be random and then intentionally trying to thwart powers that expressly given to the President.
