JAMUL, CA - In a California town located close to the Mexican border, police report that twice this week, illegal aliens attempted to board school buses transporting students in the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District, one on Tuesday and again on Wednesday, the New York Post reports

On Tuesday, at least three illegal aliens were walking in the middle of Highway 94 and attempted to stop a school bus, forcing the driver to go around them to avoid striking them or having to stop, officials said, according to Fox 5.

On Wednesday, some 20 illegal aliens tried to board a school bus at a bus stop, officials say. School bus drivers are now being told not to stop where illegals may be waiting. The Wednesday incident occurred at the same stop adjacent to the Tuesday incidents. The two incidents that took place one day apart have parents concerned for their children’s safety.

“It was definitely really scary,” said one mom, Nicole Cardinale, whose eight-year-old son was on the bus involved in Wednesday’s incident. “Your initial shock is that you’re helpless,” she said after being alerted to the incident.

Cardinale described her child as “really confused” by the episode. “He said these adults–they weren’t kids–had backpacks on, and they were trying to get on our bus…he said there was a lot of them,” she told Fox 5.

“It’s just scary that these kids were put in that situation,” Cardinale continued. “If those 20 people would have gotten onto the bus and tried to take over the bus, these kids and the bus driver could have been in real danger.”

The school district reported the incident to authorities, including the California Highway Patrol, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, and the U.S. Border Patrol.

One apologist who works at the nearby border helping illegals excused the incidents, claiming the illegal aliens may have seen a bus that could take them “to a safer area.”

Another parent from the district, Jeremy Adams, however, disagreed, saying, “We don’t know who these people are. We don’t know if they have any criminal history [or] what their background is.”

The Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating the incidents to determine whether a criminal element was involved.

“The Sheriff’s Office takes issues regarding student safety very seriously and we are working with the school district in order to keep the students and our community safe,” spokesperson Kimberly King said.

The school district’s superintendent, Liz Bystedt, sent a letter home to parents and said she had instructed bus drivers to skip stops where illegal aliens may be congregating, Fox 5 reported.

“Please stay [vigilant], and if the bus drives by, please follow the bus to pick up your child at the next stop,” she wrote.

She said the school district’s director of maintenance and operations has been following school buses along their routes to “ensure that everything was quiet.”

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), who represents the district, expressed outrage at the incidents in a post on X.

“Illegals are now trying to force their way onto our kids’ school buses,” he wrote.

The Post reached out to the school district for comment, but the district didn’t immediately answer that request.

So these are the stakes in November’s elections: continue the madness of open borders, or start securing our children’s safety by recovering the rule of law on immigration.

Franklin

The police may or may not be telling the truth about migrants trying to board a School bus you never know when they are being truthful.

Susan

Franklin, have you had a recent TIA or head injury? The PARENTS who were interviewed--one whose child WITNESSED it and told her about it---were they lying too??? Did you just fall out of a coconut tree?

Paul

Brings new meaning to, "thrown under the bus....just sayin.

EDWARD

"...could be in real danger." Surprise! They already are, it just hasn't turned deadly, yet. Trust the school system to 'monitor' things?

Chris

So now they want to kidnap children by the busloads instead of one at a time? Perhaps is time to appoint someone to ride shotgun on the school buses. Or instead of going around them, make speed bumps out of them. It will cure them of their criminal ways.
