Illegal Alien Weeps As ICE Agents Bust Him For Terrorizing Woman with 'Russian Roulette' Attack

PLANO, TX - A fugitive illegal alien on the run after the Biden administration’s immigration “policies” allowed him to walk out of a Texas jail in 2023 learned the hard way that there is a new sheriff in town, The New York Post reported. 

Raul Enrique Pargas Rodriguez, 31, fled Venezuela in 2022 after he attempted to kill a woman in what was described as a “twisted version of Russian roulette in that country in an incident that was captured on video. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told The Post that Pargas Rodriguez was caught at the southern border in Texas on Aug 10, 2022, but was released due to border agents being overwhelmed due to the surge of illegal immigrants entering the US due to Biden’s open border policies. 

Unfortunately, Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents had no information on his past due to a lack of information sharing between the Maduro regime and the Biden administration. As a result, thousands of Venezuelans crossed the border each month, including an untold number of violent criminals such as Pargas Rodriguez. 

“This dangerous criminal alien allegedly beat, demeaned, and tortured a young woman in some twisted version of Russian roulette and then fled to the US when his attempt to murder her fell apart,” ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Dallas acting Field Office Director Joshua Johnson said in a statement.

In the video, Pargas Rodriguez is seen grabbing the woman, whom he lured to his workshop on Feb. 24, 2021, by the neck and pointing a gun at her head. He then placed the gun to the intended victim’s head before removing bullets and replacing some. She managed to escape, ICE said. Sources have confirmed the authenticity of the video. 

Pargas Rodriguez didn’t leave his criminal past behind when he entered the US, allegedly committing an assault, ICE said. When they learned of the incident, they came across him on November 28, 2023, at the Dallas County Jail. The Post reported that details of that assault were not clear. That was when the feds released him under Biden’s feckless immigration policies. 

His luck ran out, however, when on Aug. 14 in Plano, a Dallas suburb, ICE nabbed Pargas Rodriguez after receiving information that Interpol issued an arrest warrant for him weeks before, related to the attempted murder in Venezuela. 

“Thanks to a tip from the US Border Patrol, we were able to track him down and safely take him into custody so that he can be repatriated to Venezuela to face justice for his alleged crimes, Johnson said. Venezuela issued a warrant in April 2024; however, the US government wasn’t informed of it at that time, sources told The Post. 

Moreover, Venezuela wasn’t accepting deportation flights from the US under the Biden administration. Since the new sheriff, President Trump, took over, Venezuela has agreed to share intelligence with the US and accept deportations. 

When he was taken into custody, the Venezuelan “tough guy” was crying like a baby, according to photos taken at the scene of his arrest.
