DALLAS, TX – Back in July 2023, just days before Independence Day, a woman from Dallas, Texas went viral after having a meltdown on an American Airlines flight, claiming that a passenger was “not real."
According to the New York Post, the woman caused a major scene, which was all caught on camera. At the time of the loud, unprovoked incident, the woman’s identity had not been revealed.
The video was promptly circulated on TikTok, where people watched as a woman paced to the front of the plane using several expletive words.
“I’m telling you," the woman said, "I’m getting the (expletive) off and there’s a reason why I’m getting the (expletive) off and everyone can either believe it or they cannot believe it. I don’t give two (expletive), but I am telling you right now - that (expletive) back there is NOT real."
At that point, she turned and pointed towards the rear of the plane, prompting other passengers to turn around to get a glimpse of the person she claimed was not real.
Weeks later, the woman was identified. Her name is Tiffany Gomas, a 38-year-old marketing executive who, according to public records, lives in a two million dollar home.
According to an article by a trade publication, she served as vice president of Elevate Brand Marketing, where she was named a “rising star” back in 2017. Dave Sedlin, the person who nominated Gomas, said, “Tiffany has built a sales portfolio and track record that rivals account managers with decades in the business … Tiffany is client-focused beyond compare. Whatever it takes to deliver on strategy, on time and on budget, it gets done."
Michael Dunsworth, another person who nominated Gomas, also spoke very highly of the woman who caused a scene on the plane. “Tiffany listens to her customers," he said. "She knows her customers and their needs because she takes the time to listen."
Gomas’ outburst on American Airlines led to hours and hours of delays for other passengers. According to police documents obtained by the New York Post, despite Gomas claiming that she was “getting the (expletive) off the plane” and storming up and down the aisle, she refused to leave the plane and had to be removed by staff.
Before walking towards the front of the plane, Gomas said to all the passengers, “You can sit on this plane and you can (expletive) die with them or not. I’m not going to."
Authorities said that the argument had allegedly started when Gomas had a “fall out” with relatives she was traveling with and that she had accused them of stealing her Airpods.
A statement from the complaint from July 2nd reads, “The female then started claiming the aircraft was not safe and did not want the aircraft to leave due to her believing it would not make it to its destination."
The complaint also said, “Due to the statements the flight attendants felt the aircraft needed to be rescreened. [The airline manager] explained that the passenger was denied boarding and they wanted her escorted to the public side."
The nature of her unprovoked complaints forced the airlines to have all the passengers deplane so they could be screened again. Paperwork stated that “TSA personnel” conducted a “full rescreening of the aircraft."
Documents state that Gomas was eventually escorted to the non-secure area of the airport, but that she attempted to come back through TSA screening and the boarding area multiple times. Gomas eventually made her way outside where she sat on a curb and awaited an Uber.
The complaint states that she was given a ticket for criminal trespass notice, which she refused to sign and she would not show police her ID. She was never formally arrested or taken into custody.

Great story. I knew this lady wasn’t nuts. She believed what she saw and what she said! Y’all left out or covered up what really happened . We all saw the videos and she wasn’t worried about no damn air buds. She was highly upset because the man sitting beside her creeped her the hell out! He was staring at her oddly and then winked. But when he winked his eyes winked sideways!! I like your site but now it has me questioning how correct other stories are.
