How an anti-American, terrorist-supporting lunatic like Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) remains in Congress is anybody’s guess. Yet here we are.
Daniel Greenfield, writing in Front Page Magazine, reports that Tlaib, a clear Israel-hater, has fundraising ties to Hamas supporters. Moreover, she employed at least three Hamas-linked activists for her 2018 election campaign, including one who spent eight months in prison for his connections to Hamas. That is according to a Canary Mission report.
One of those employed on her campaign is Salah Sarsour, who “was reportedly a Hamas activist who served eight months in prison in 1995 for his connections to the terror group, including giving Hamas members money.”
Tlaib, who has a history of anti-American and anti-Semitic rants, still has not retracted a social media post where she blamed the bombing of a hospital in Gaza on Israel, which has been debunked not only by Israel but by the United States as well.
The far-left congresswoman and “squad” member also allegedly used a “pro-terror Facebook page, PAC-USA,” to raise funds for her 2018 campaign. In 2015, she co-founded Black4Palestine, a Detroit-based, anti-American, anti-Israel, pro-terror hate group, Canary Mission continued.
Tlaib also used Rafeeq Jaber, co-founder of CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) for a fundraiser. Jaber “directed two Hamas front groups in the U.S. to ‘promote [the Holy Land Foundation] in every way we can’ and to distribute Hamas propaganda materials, including an August 2001 editorial that advocated martyrdom operations and the killing of Jewish people.”
CAIR acts as a money laundering operation that funds many Islamist front groups operating in the United States. One of those front groups is American Muslims for Palestine, which is being sued for its financing of terrorist operations. That organization allegedly provides funding for several Democrats, including:
Tlaib, Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Andre Carson (D-Ind.), Betty McCollum (D-Minn.), Donald Payne Jr. (D-N.J.), Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.), Judy Chu (D-Calif.), and Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.).
Another who helped fundraise for Tlaib is Abdelbaset Hamayel, who co-hosted a July 20, 2018 fundraiser in Chicago for Tlaib. He has worked in senior positions for two Hamas-linked organizations in the U.S., which have since gone defunct.
Hamayel served as the Illinois and Wisconsin representative for KindHearts for Charitable Humanitarian Development, which dissolved in 2011 after the Department of the Treasury discovered it was funneling funds to Hamas.
Tlaib is also closely tied to Maher Abdelqader, who served as Chairman of the Finance Committee for Tlaib’s 2018 congressional campaign. The Tlaib campaign also identified him as its “Community Campaign Coordinator.”
In 2018, Abdelqader created and administered an anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian Facebook group called The Palestinian American Congress/USA. In June 2020, the now-defunct group had over 12,000 members.
That page was used to spread anti-Semitism, along with neo-Nazi propaganda and posts that honored David Duke, former KKK head and white supremacist. Tlaib was a member of that page as of Feb 8, 2018.
Abdelquder promoted at least a dozen fundraisers for Tlaib in eight states, including soliciting campaign donations, posting fundraising updates, and campaign photos throughout the 2018 campaign.
Black4Palestine, the anti-Israel hate group founded by Tlaib and Kristian Davis Bailey, is based in Detroit. The group has expressed support for leaders of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. This armed Marxist-Leninist group is listed as a Foreign Terror Organization by the U.S. government.
Bailey has openly advocated for terrorism against Israel, arguing in July 2016 that “social and ethnic divisions should be exploited in America and Israel to destroy them from the inside because they cannot be defeated militarily.”
Black4Palestine has also endorsed the violent separatist group Black Liberation Army, spreading hatred of America while also promoting calls for America’s defeat while spreading hate of Israel and calling for that nation’s destruction.
How is this anti-American, terrorist-loving imbecile still in Congress? Only the voters of Michigan can answer that question.
