EAST LONGMEADOW, MA- A crazy leftist thought it would be a good idea to bake cookies decorated with the words “F*ck ICE” on them. Now, she’s complaining that since word of her “clever” idea went viral, she’s been “facing death threats and online harassment,” Western Mass News reported. Actions have consequences, although LET will never excuse death threats.
Niki Moran, who owns The Sweet Boutique, complained that her home address was posted online, strangers wished death on her children, threatened to assault her employees, and promised to burn down her bakery with her inside. Almost like what leftists said after Charlie Kirk was murdered in cold blood, and what federal immigration agents have been enduring from unhinged leftists. As conservatives, we need to be better than that.
“People have wished illness and death on my family and my children. We’ve gotten a lot of death threats, hoping me and all my female employees get raped, and my male employees get robbed, that they’re going to lock me in the building and burn the place down with me inside. It’s just been, it’s been a lot,” Moran told the outlet.

One would think that, in a politically charged environment in which we find ourselves, a business owner might want to consider the consequences of their actions. Decorating cookies with “F*ck ICE is deliberately provocative, and Moran should have realized that using such inflammatory words and bragging about it on social media might trigger some people. While nobody wishes violence on anyone, Moran should have realized what she was doing would anger ½ the population.
Moran said she made the cookies to express her “frustration” with current events in immigration enforcement and deportations across the country. Apparently, Ms. Moran is fine with violent gang-bangers being allowed to remain in the country. Perhaps she would like to put some up in her home?
“There was just a log going on in the news, and we are very…we just get really mad. It’s just really frustrating, and sometimes we just need to express it, and there were a lot of protests going on, and it was really just kind of on a whim, and I was like, ‘What if I put this on a cookie?’ and that was it,” she told the outlet.
Moran claimed the cookies went viral, however, so did the backlash. Moran said she and her employees implemented safety protocols, and she filed a report with the East Longmeadow police. Western Mass News stated that they were unable to provide any updates on their investigation.
While Moran said the bakery has seen an uptick in business (likely from anti-ICE zealots), critics have taken to review sites such as Yelp to express their displeasure with her political stunt. So bad were the reviews that Yelp shut down the business's ratings.
“Stopped by to try this place yesterday. Typical pastries and sweets. Mediocre. Too much icing and seemed stale, so not sure they have fresh products daily. I think the owner splits time between baking and protesting. Stick with the other great pastry shops in East Longmeadow that have been around for a long time, like LaFiorintina.”
“The inside of this place was filthy. Their disgraceful display of cookies was also disrespectful. I wouldn’t expect anything less from a bunch of liberals. And the scaredy-cats that they are, they don’t have their voicemail set up for anybody to leave their negative reviews. So we’ll all just do it here publicly.”
“I was in town to visit family and decided to stop in for some treats. Rude girl at the counter…I turned around and walked out. (I was wearing a ‘Freedom’ t-shirt, so I’m sure that’s why she was nasty).”
“Sorry to see profanity written in icing on cookies. Just made it uncomfortable for a bunch of potential customers. Don’t they know half the country is on the other side? Sad.”
“Don’t bring your children in this store. They have profanity on their cookies. I was shocked to see cookies with the word F*CK on them…absolutely disgusting…what a disgrace.”
“I wouldn’t bother with this place. Terrible service and stale food. Not to mention, they hate law enforcement!”
Moran told Western Mass News that she uses her business as a “platform for her beliefs” and hopes it encourages others to do the same. Meantime, she’s turned off at least half of her potential customer base. Not sure if that’s a smart business plan.
