Sunday March 31, 2024 is Easter Sunday on the calendar this year. Although, Joe Biden has decided to ignore this momentous day, or maybe the intention was just to stomp on it all together.
Biden issued the proclamation on Friday which says, in part, “I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discriminiation based on gender identity.”
He is right in a way, people should not be discriminated against based on gender. However, this nation was founded on God and for Christians to even consider the transgender ideology is to insinuate that God somehow made a mistake. And that is simply impossible.
There are TWO genders, and God assigned our genders at birth. He does not make mistakes.
Worse is that our nation’s “leader” found it necessary to declare such a day on the holiest of days. The day that Christ followers across the world are celebrating the resurrected King.
Let’s call it what it is: a direct attack on Christianity. And it should absolutely infuriate every single person who claims to be a Christ follower.
That’s not all. Biden also added a new rule to the annual egg hunt on the Capitol lawn, where no religious decorations are to be on any of the eggs.
One can argue that Easter is a pagan holiday. And the rebuttal is simple: Confucius and his additions to this Holy day take nothing away from the meaning. Without the resurrection, there would be no “Easter” holiday. Let that sink in.
Biden’s proclamation also says, “it is no surprise that the bullying and discrimination that transgender Americans face is worsening our Nation’s mental health crisis...”
Our mental health crisis exists because of narratives and ideologies like this being pushed and widely accepted. This ideology is a direct result of this nation and its “leaders” pushing further and further away from the founding principles of this nation, and that includes God and His word.
“At the same time, an epidemic of violence against transgender women and girls, especially women, and girls of color, continues to take too many lives,” Biden’s proclamation states.
More narrative-shoving garbage. Protecting biological women and children from men who want to pretend to be women is not an epidemic. It is absolutely necessary and should be widely supported. Instead, let’s make the mentally ill the victims and villainize the protectors. Give me a break.
Biden says, “no one should have to be brave to be themselves.” Apparently that only applies if you’re feeding into the nonsense because the moment someone stands for God and country and steps up to hold people accountable, they are labeled “right-wing extremists” and terrorists.
This is too far. And it is a hill I am willing to die on. Because if standing up against these loonies and their insane ideologies that both demean and disrespect God, I will unapologetically and loudly stand every single time.
On Easter Sunday, Resurrection Day, the ONLY voice and life that I will be lifting, is that of Jesus. And I’ll continue every single day after that.
