Sister Holds 13-Year-Old’s Bloodied Body After Ambush Shooting

GOLDSBORO, NC- In another horrific case involving teenage suspects, a 13-year-old girl walking home with her older sister was shot and killed by three teenage boys who jumped out of some buses and ambushed them, police said, according to Law & Crime.

The older sister, J’Sheeyah Tune, 14, told ABC affiliate WTVD about the aftermath of the shooting, telling the outlet, “There was blood all on my hands.”

“She looked so scared,” she said of her younger sister. “I was scared myself.”

J’Sheeyah said that despite having her sister’s blood on her, “I didn’t want to wipe it off. I still felt her presence. I felt her still with me.”

J’Sheeyah and her sister, Jaleeyah, were walking along with some friends in Goldsboro to get something to eat. They were on their way back home when the three teens, one 15 and the other two 16, jumped out of some bushes and, without provocation, opened fire. Jaleeyah was hit with one of the shots and was pronounced dead at the scene.

“I held her in her last moments,” J’Sheeyah said.

Local resident Jeffery Rudolph told CBS affiliate WNCN what he saw.

“I saw her [Jaleeyah) laying over there,” Rudolph said. “I saw her laying over there under the sheet. And you know, I was consoling the family and showing support with them. So, it was kind of rough.”

The three suspects were identified and arrested. All three are charged with first-degree murder and felony conspiracy. One was arraigned on Monday, while the others were scheduled to appear later this week,” WTVD reported.

“She didn’t deserve this at all,” J’Sheeyah said. “People are very cruel. Now, I have to live on without my sister.”

Jaleeyah’s mother spoke to WTVD and called her deceased daughter her “miracle baby.”

“She was my miracle baby. She was more premature. She came home in 2012 right before Christmas, and now she’s leaving right before Christmas,” she said. “She was a helper who was friendly, smart, and bubbly. Just had this personality that we aren’t going to get back.”

Rudolph said he wants to start some type of program to deal with troubled youth.

“I want to do a mentor program for teenage girls, and a Big Brother/Big Sister program, for I think they just need more mentorship,” Rudolph said.

Those 3 hd zero parenting, had they had some one that was a responsible parent to teach them compassion, respect for life. It will be interesting to see what judicial punishment they will receive, I going to state that they will probably receive a light sentence, and will commit more crimes ,
