A win for national security: Court order forces Biden to 'do his job' and build border wall

In a blow to Joe Biden and "Border Czar" Kamala Harris, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey obtained a court order forcing the Administration to spend congressionally appropriated dollars to construct a barrier along the southern border.

In a post on X, AG Bailey wrote, “I obtained a court order forcing border czar [Kamala Harris] and [Joe Biden] to finish President Trump’s border wall."

AG Bailey stated, “The Biden Administration has failed to abide by the law to finish the construction of a long along the Southwest Border. Joe Biden refuses to carry out his constitutionally mandated responsibilities, so we took him to court to force him to do his job.”

In 2020, Congress passed a law requiring the president to construct barrier systems at the southern border to keep unauthorized individuals out of the country. The law provided $1.4 billion and states the money may only be used for constructing barrier systems along the southwest border. 

The Biden-Harris administration was asked why the money was not spent on the border wall according to the law passed by Congress, to which it replied, "[W]e do not agree with the building of a wall."

There have been record-breaking migrant crossings and record numbers of illegal immigrants coming into the United States. With this has come an increase in illegal drugs, crime, and a strain on governmental resources. 

The Biden Administration attempted to argue that AG Bailey did not have standing to challenge the refusal to use the funds. However, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that states can bring a challenge. Alongside Missouri, Texas has filed a similar lawsuit. 

“Walls and fences have existed at the border between the United States and Mexico for years," the ruling pointed out.

At this time, it appears that the Biden-Harris Administration will not be appealing the ruling. AG Bailey said that fact makes "our win FINAL.” He also said, “The rest of President Trump’s border wall is going up because of this lawsuit."

Attorney General Bailey is the 44th Attorney General and was sworn into that office in 2023. He served in the Army and also served as a prosecutor. More about him can be found on his website.

I agree Steve and Lauren. Also, with our gutless Congress, unwilling to exercise their powers and bring the executive branch to heel, the Obama bureaucracy will continue its derelict rampage of destroying our constitutional republic.

And make no mistake, he has been, most likely, the puppeteer behind the last 4 years. And if Harris falls in line there will be 4 more. If she doesn’t, it will be way worse for our country, since she is more to the left than the rest!! Never thought I’d live to see the day that a real possibility of becoming a 3rd-world country could exist here. But the way we have sunk in just 3-1/2 years, it will be cemented in for the next 4. People think it’s bad now, they have no idea how much more worse it will get! For what, you want a black woman to lead this country. That would be great, but this is NOT the one! OR because you don’t like Trumps personality! Think of it this way, you have a medical emergency that requires a skilled surgeon. Do you go with a mediocre surgeon who has a great bedside manner, or the Most skilled who doesn’t? Actions speak louder and I’ll go with the one who gets the job done. We have a unique time in this election. We are picking between two terms, one under Biden/Harris and Trump. When you compare what the state our country and the world is in right now, I’ll pick Trump every time. No illegals bringing drugs, rapists, murderers, terrorists, child traffickers across our border vs. criminals, terrorists, etc. Does it need to be your loved one who gets killed before you see the light? I’m just wondering. Why are you so willing to pay with our hard earned money to have our taxes go to providing FREE food, rent, cash $$, healthcare, education, and voting in our country when they are not citizens? Why do you think the Dems don’t want Voter ID? It’s not rocket science! They want their person in, the consequences be d#@&ed to all around! If you want to live I. A 3rd world country, then I’ll pay for your flight!? But most patriotic people who live this country simply DO NOT! I 🙏🏻 people will wake up and do what’s right for their pocketbooks and safety!

The Biden/Harris duo sold much of the material to build the border wall for scrap metal and they should be FORCED to replace that material at their own personal expense!
