WASHINGTON, DC - The opposition of Democrats to the SAVE America Act is bordering on complete insanity. While photo ID is required to attend the Democratic National Convention, Congressional Democrats are vehemently opposed to requiring photo ID to carry out one of the most important duties and privileges we have as American citizens. That is the right to vote.
If anyone wonders why Democrats are obsessed with comparing the requirement of a photo ID to the Jim Crow laws of the 1800s, one need only look at comments made in the past couple of weeks by members of Congress. Their opposition isn’t out of any sense of decency or true concern about blacks and women being disenfranchised, arguments so silly that they are worthy of the mockery they are getting. This is about Democrats gaining power. Nothing less.
What would they do with this power if they regained it? Aside from previously promised matters such as stacking the Supreme Court with Ketanji Brown Jackson-type “geniuses,” adding Puerto Rico and Washington, DC as the 51st and 52nd states, giving them (likely) four more Democrat senators, and doing away with the filibuster, they have threatened—no, promised—to expose Trump administration officials to lawfare that would make Biden administration officials blush in embarrassment.
According to the RAIR Foundation, members of Congress have openly threatened to go after Trump administration officials should they regain control of Congress.
For example, during a hearing in the House, Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI), whose command of the English language rivals that of a three-year-old, and who looks like he has a black squirrel on top of his head, went after US Customs and Border Protection Chief Rodney Scott. Thanedar, who makes Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) seem like a wordsmith, called federal immigration officers “thugs” and told Scott that he “better hope” President Trump pardons him because he “will be held accountable.”
“You better [sic] hope you get pardoned because you will be held accountable for the absolute disregard of the law your agencies have shown over the past year,” he bloviated.
He then turned his attention later to Acting US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Todd Lyons over the shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, two unhinged anti-ICE zealots, by federal officers in Minnesota.
“I have heard and seen enough. I’m just sick and tired of your agents running around in our cities, in our streets, causing illegal activities, ICE thugs attacking our communities, using our children as bait, referring to people as bodies and numbers targeting people for their accents and the color of their skin, and killing American citizens, all while showing zero remorse for their actions,” Thanedar screamed, lying the entire time.
Accountable for what? Helping to deport tens of thousands of illegal aliens, many of them violent criminals? What is the obsession with Democrats railing against law enforcement while defending criminals?
“Director Lyons and Commissioner Scott, do you think President Trump will pardon you and your boss, Kristi Noem, before he leaves office, just like he has for insurrectionists and his political allies? Do you believe President Trump will pardon you?” Thanedar asked.
“I’m not going to speak on behalf of President Trump, but I’ll tell you, I signed up for this job to protect America, and I’m very proud of the service that I provide, and I don’t need a pardon from anybody,” Scott calmly replied.
Thanedar continued his unhinged rant, bragging that he “introduced a bill in the United States Congress to abolish ICE.” He also said he co-sponsored an impeachment resolution against DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
Thanedar is an unhinged nut who has filed articles of impeachment against President Trump several times and takes Trump Derangement Syndrome to an obsessive level.
Who is Thanedar? Last year, Law Enforcement Today did an exposé on Thanedar, who filed seven articles of impeachment against Trump, including one because the president didn’t return every Democrat’s favorite “Maryland dad” to the United States.
Thanedar is a grifter who, as of last year, had campaign debt of nearly $750,000.
Aside from being a fraud, Thanedar likes to commit fraud. As we reported, The Detroit News reported in 2016 that Thanedar was sued for business fraud, alleging that he inflated the value of a company he sold that year. Remember, President Trump was indicted for allegedly inflating the value of real estate holdings, yet this dimwit did much worse.
Avomeen Holdings LLC sued, seeking damages of between $7 million and $8 million from the sale of its company. Thanedar ended up settling with Avomeen; however, details of the settlement were never released.
Thanedar is a multiple-time election loser, finally elected to Congress in 2020.
Thanedar is also an animal abuser. In 2010, he was accused of shutting down a testing lab in New Jersey after Thanedar closed its parent company. Months later, local animal rights activists told authorities that 118 beagles had been abandoned in the facility, as reported by HuffPost. Ex-workers told USA Today that they jumped over fences to provide food and water to the dogs.
Insiders with knowledge of the operation said the dogs lived terrible lives in captivity and had been subjected to toxicology tests. Two animal rescue groups eventually rescued the dogs. Defense of Animals returned to the site and rescued 55 long-tailed macaque monkeys.
When confronted about the abandoned animals, scumbag Thanedar lied and attempted to blame the Bank of America.
Next up, we have resident serial gas-passer and banger of Chinese spies, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), who fancies himself California’s next governor. As much of a bloviating buffoon that Thanedar made of himself, Swalwell managed to one-up him.
“Will you resign from ICE?” Swalwell bellowed at Lyons.
“No,” Lyons replied.
“Why not?” Swalwell asked.
“Because that child that you’re showing right there, the men and women of ICE took care of him when his father abandoned him and ran from law enforcement,” Lyons admonished Swalwell.
“For the child’s safety, one of our ICE officers remained with the child while the other officers apprehended Conejo Arias,” a DHS official recounted. “ICE did not target a child.”
That stunt by Swalwell involved his posting a picture of the five-year-old child of an illegal alien, who, when ICE was closing in, abandoned the child in the freezing cold of Minneapolis and fled. ICE officers took the child into custody and took care of him until he was eventually reunited with his father, who was captured by ICE and who requested to be reunited with his child. You know, to avoid the “separation of families” that Democrats whine about.
Swalwell also co-authored the so-called “ICE OUT Act” with fellow dimwit Democrat Rep. Daniel Goldman (D-NY), seeking to strip qualified immunity from federal immigration agents. That bill died the undignified death it deserved.
Swalwell later tried to “shame” Lyons into resigning, claiming that his decorated military and law enforcement career shouldn’t be tainted by leading ICE, calling that a “choice.”
“You are what I would call ‘otherwise employable.’ I think most people would agree this is not the only job that you can get,” Swalwell said. “But since you’ve been on this job, women have been dragged by their hair through the streets. A 6-year-old child battling stage-four cancer has been deported. And it turns out he was a US citizen,” Fang Fang’s former lover said.
Much of Swalwell’s statement is either patently false or highly exaggerated. However, that doesn’t negate the fact that Swalwell and Thanedar, along with an untold number of Democrats, are licking their chops, hoping that somehow, some way, they will regain control of Congress in the midterms and spend the next two years going after not only Trump administration officials, but the president himself.
If only the Republicans used their majorities in Congress to go after the real criminals...Anthony Fauci, Alejandro Mayorkas, and Biden himself. Give the Democrats credit for one thing: they don't play fair, and when they have the majority, they use that power. Playing nice isn't in their game plan; neither should it be in the Republicans.
Democrats are about one thing…ultimate power. They don’t care about blacks, Hispanics, women, the LGBTQ community, illegal aliens, or, least of all, children. They only use them as convenient props to go after Republicans when it suits them.
Power is what they crave, and they will stop at nothing to regain it.
