Democrat lawmakers look to pass a bill that would help criminal illegal immigrants avoid ICE

OLYMPIA, WA - In an effort to defy President Trump and his administration's efforts to conduct the largest deportation operation the United States has ever seen, Washington State senators passed a bill that would expedite pardons or clemency for illegal immigrants who have committed crimes so that they can continue to live illegally in the United States and avoid deportation.

According to Mynorthwest, the bill's fate now rests with the House. The bill, S.B. 5103 was sponsored by Senator Bob Hasegawa (D-Seattle) and it fast-tracks petitions to the clemency and pardons board for those with pending deportation orders. The bill intentionally, and likely, illegally interferes with federal immigration enforcement.

Hasegawa said in a statement, "This provides an expedited pathway to make sure that they don't face deportation when ICE comes knocking on their door." Proponents of the bill argue that this legislation provides a necessary lifeline for illegal immigrants who have served their sentences and are reintegrating back into society.

Hasegawa said, "I think it's just the right thing to do. These are Americans who have paid their dues to society." However, these individuals are not here legally and therefore are not Americans. Not only did they enter the country illegally, but they then victimized U.S. citizens who otherwise would not have become victims.

The passage of SB 5103 showcases the willingness amongst Democratic leaders in the state of Washington to compromise public safety by not abiding by federal immigration laws. Hasegawa said that the bill has a "lot of potential to save families and lives" and notes that Washington has always been a "welcoming state."

The Democratic leaders in favor of this bill make no distinction between an illegal immigrant who otherwise abides by the law, contributes to their community, and is hard working, and one that chooses to violate the laws of this country by robbing, assaulting, raping, or murdering U.S. citizens. This bill sends the message to illegal immigrants that it is OK to come here illegally, commit crimes, and they will still be protected from deportation.

Hasegawa and his fellow Democrats claim that the bill is about "equal justice under the law," but these individuals did not follow procedure to become lawful citizens of this country. The same caucus introduced legislation to lessen the penalties of child-sex predators caught in online undercover operations as they try to meet underage kids for sex.

According to a report from Fox News, President Trump's newly sworn in Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russ Vought told Republican senators that an immediate $175 billion is needed for border security. At a weekly Senate GOP lunch, Trump's budget chief spoke to lawmakers, stressing that more money and resources are needed to secure the border and continue undoing Biden-era immigration policies.

Vought detailed that the administration requires for "robust and sustained" border security and immigration enforcement. He explained that given Trump's significant actions to address illegal immigration, money is running out and in order for the administration to keep enforcing the new policies and conducting new operations, those resources must be renewed.

The funding being sought would go toward ramping up personnel across agencies, expanding detention capacity, and reinstituting the "Remain in Mexico" program.

The $175 billion topline budget request has already been factored into Senate Committee on the Budget Chairman Lindsey Graham's reconciliation bill, which is slated to go through the key committee in coming days. Vought's address to Senate Republicans also came after Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote a letter to top appropriators in the House and Senate, expressing the necessity of additional border funding.

They wrote, "Even if the price of some of these measures may seem high, they are nothing when compared to the costs our country is facing in the long term of continuing the status quo."

Shame on him! What a Traitor!

Passing a unconstitutional state law is going to do nothing, as New York State will fined out in court! NWO, one world leader supporter's are losing the war on keeping OUR Country under their thumb! Go Trump!

Rocco

What else would you expect, it's Washington! The democrat mode in Washington is to try and outdo California and Oregon in how whacko the state can be.

James

WOW, You must live here ...........

Paul

Uhh, just because you erase their crimes from your books. Pretty sure the feds still have their rap sheets and they're still illegal once they come out. If I were ICE, I'd have road blocks at all gates in and out of their prisons and jails checking every vehicle coming and going. They're playing a game they won't win.

Steven

Everyone that voted in favor of this bill has literally issued a signed confession to violation of federal law.

:>)

James

SO arrest them ..... KICK OPEN the COMMON LAW courts and let's be RID of them .....

Dona

How can state law trump federal immigration laws, rules and prior court decisions? Is that not treasonous? Those that institute those erroneous laws need to be held liable to any family to which hard is done for their actions. Illegals have cost us more than what Trump is asking for -

James

Trump could send in the military to enforce the LAW just by signing the order ....

James

If you pass laws to legalize crime you need to be arrested and put in the same pen as these criminals!

James

Then get to arresting them .........

Rick

People should make them feel the repercussions of their decision anytime they see them in public by voicing their opposition. The Fed Gov't should also pull funding and grants to any state that feels they can pass laws to protect criminals. FAFO

James

The PEOPLE should be stringing them up from the lamp posts ...... And THAT is PURE FACT ......

Don

The Democrats need to learn how to count. This is where math competency could help them. They do not have the votes in the Senate or Congress to do anything. They can talk all they want, but the Democrats speak empty nonsense. The way things look, it will be at least another 16 years before they can gain a majority in Congress, the Senate, or the WH seat. The people in the USA are smarter and getting wiser to the junk being sold by Democrats. It may be more like 26 years.
