“A border crisis ignored no more”: Police leaders unite for national security with crucial help from SaferWatch

Against the backdrop of the ongoing crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, law enforcement leaders gathered in Arizona to expose the reality of drug smuggling, human trafficking, and national security threats that continue to plague our nation.

This powerful joint initiative, led by the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA) and supported by SaferWatch, brought together high-profile voices determined to counteract the silence from legacy media and restore law and order to America's frontlines.

As FLEOA National President Mathew Silverman and border czar Tom Homan stood side-by-side in the rugged terrain near Nogales, they made one thing clear: “This is not political. This is about protecting our country.”

Homan, a former ICE Director, emphasized that under the Trump administration, agents were empowered and the law was enforced.

“Now, under renewed leadership, the agents are finally allowed to do their jobs again,” Homan said.

What Silverman and Homan encountered on the border was a disturbing pattern of cartel activity. Criminal spotters perched in hillside homes across the Mexican border track U.S. agents' every move, gathering intelligence that allows traffickers to manipulate enforcement gaps.

“These hills are crawling with cartel scouts,” Silverman said. “They pretend to be sweeping porches or tending yards, but they’re directing traffic—human and drug alike—right into the heart of our communities.”

The group emphasized that under the Biden administration’s policy failures, massive distractions by overwhelming one side of the border with hundreds of illegal crossings allowed cartels to push narcotics through less-patrolled areas quietly. But thanks to newly reinstated enforcement measures, agents are finally regaining ground and confronting traffickers to protect Americans.

SaferWatch, a leading public safety app, serves through its mission to empower citizens with tools to report suspicious activity directly to the proper authorities. With over 20,000 incidents reported, the app has already prevented violence, triggered major drug busts, and even thwarted an online threat to President Trump.

"See something, send something,” said one presenter, urging Americans to use SaferWatch’s anonymous tip platform, real-time alerts, and panic buttons to be proactive in their communities. “This is how we win—through information, courage, and collaboration.”

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, a strong advocate for law and order, was also praised for her commitment to standing shoulder-to-shoulder with federal officers.

“She’s one of the few who’s not afraid to say what needs to be said,” Silverman noted.

At a time when law enforcement officers often feel abandoned, this joint effort represents a decisive shift that amplifies the truth about the border crisis and arms everyday Americans with the tools to act. As one official put it, “The media won’t show it. But we will.”

And with partners like Safer Watch on board, the fight for truth, justice, and American security is just getting started.
