AMHERST, MA - Of course, it’s Amherst, the leftist capital of Massachusetts. And the irony is palpable.
Anyone aware of the ideology behind the terrorist organization Hamas, which was overwhelmingly chosen to lead the government in Gaza, knows that aside from killing Israelis, their favorite sport is throwing LGBTQ people off of high-rise buildings. That hasn’t stopped tone-deaf members of the alphabet community from throwing their support behind Hamas, and now, when they’re not trying to brainwash kids into the LGBTQ ideology, the drag queen community has signed on to the effort.
According to the New York Post, last month, a drag queen appeared at an event in Amherst, “Queer Storytime for Palestine,” in an event sponsored by Valley Families for Palestine. A video of the event went viral and has drawn outrage online since the event was targeted toward young children. If it looks like indoctrination and sounds like indoctrination, it’s indoctrination.
“Today, what we’re going to do is shout ‘Free Palestine.’ Can I hear that?” asked the clearly confused drag queen known as “Lil Miss Hot Mess” to the children in the 30-second clip.
“If you’re a drag queen and you know it, and you really want to show it, if you’re a drag queen and you know it, shout ‘Free Palestine.’”
The children, as they are brainwashed to do, followed the drag queen’s commands and repeatedly shouted, “Free Palestine.”
Once the video of the exchange went online, critics slammed the event.
“The harsh reality? Members of the LGBTQ+ community are often murdered in Gaza and other Palestinian areas such as Ramallah,” Stop Antisemitism posted in a tweet.
“Oftentimes, members of the LGBTQ+ community seek refuge in Israel as their lives are endangered and their families excommunicate them. Were these children taught these points?”
“An indoctrination double whammy: ‘Free Palestine’ meets ‘drag queen story hour,’” tweeted former Israel Defense Forces sergeant Eitan Fischberger on X.
British TV host and leader of the Brexit movement in Britain, Nigel Farage, also slammed the event, tweeting:
“If people can’t see that drag queens teaching kids to chant ‘Free Palestine’ is wrong on every level, then they seriously are part of the problem.”
One poster, Jake Wallis Simons, editor of the Jewish Chronicle, marveled that American opponents such as Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and others were “laughing so hard (and sharpening their knives” at the idiocy.
“Drag Queen Story Hour somehow just got worse,” the Citizen Free Press tweeted.
Organizers of the event posted photos on Instagram showing young children and their parents watching the debacle and smiling as” Lil Miss Hot Mess” performed sexual simulations in front of them. The group also said children learned “important lessons” from the event.
“We came together today in joy and solidarity and learned some important lessons about being ourselves, using our voices to speak out against injustice, and being fabulous while we do it,’ a caption read.
The Jerusalem Post previously reported that a similar event in Arizona featuring “Daddy Satan” was canceled in March after facing harsh backlash.
